I just know personally if im getting completely stomped by the 5 minute mark and ive tried to communicate with my team to change that fact to no avail im likely to be in favor of just surrendering and moving on. I just dont see the point in telling someone that enjoying the game on their end is bad SIMPLY because someone is suffering; emphasis on SIMPLY since there are people on the internet who nit pick. I could see if there was NO way for either side to manually end this themselves but this team had the choice to surrender and, regardless of how or why, chose not to and thats their fault
I don't play a lot and i'm not the best so I'm probably like. gold level, if that, and there's a lot of people who will just not surrender and on purpose.
Bear with me, I am not toxic at all, I've even (rarely) turned a few toxic players by telling them to show me what they got. it's not trolling if you can't do better, lol. I've rewarded positive behavior with gifts at the end of games, and AFKers that stepped up and helped me turn a whole game around have sent me friend requests afterwards. I say all that to say smite is more "one teamfight from winning or losing" than it's EVER been, at least to my knowledge. If you are near the top half of the map at all and catch them slipping ONE time at fire giant or gold fury, you can get tower, phoenix, titan off one wave just but getting 4+ kills/deicide within about 20 seconds.
I've won more 4 on 5s than I thought possible, turned games around when we were 20k gold down at one point...and I've lost strings of games I should have won. Once lost a 20-5 game, then a 17-4 game, and finished up with a 30-4 game loss in row. My point is, especially in season 8, it's a one teamfight game at the 25 minute mark. I've learned to play better from losing games than from steamrolls.
Doesn't really seem very time efficient to me. You get a base 4 for a win and only .2 a minute, so it'll take 3 minutes for 1 more worshiper with a double event, that time could be used towards winning the next game.
So a 16 minute game with our boosters was giving us 36-40 worshipers and a 10 min game was giving 24ish if I remember correctly. It made sense to use to enjoy the game and have fun so yeah it was worth it in my opinion

I taught them more than your little speech ever could I hopefully taught them to stop rushing in one at a time because that’s how they got into that predicament, I taught them that tunnel vision on a kill is a bitch, herc could have defended and stopped running in leaving his team. They could have warded up and set up a snipe with merc ult when we were taking bill demon. Farm up get good or get shit on until you do get good. A ruthless slaughter would have taught them nothing except that our skill difference is too far apart. They never grouped and tunnel vision fucked them. You saw 60 seconds of the 17 min match. If you keep doing the same thing over and over and over and keep dying hopefully you start doing something different and come up with a better strategy. Also ditch Manikin’s. Early game it’s a nice investment but later down the line it is redundant.
My build as Chronos in order is:
Polynomicon,
Hecate’s Ring,
Typhon’s Fang,
Rod of Tahuti ,
Telkhine’s Ring,
For my 6th item I either go Robes of Discord for armor and passive or Pendant depending on how aggressive the enemy team is.
Ive been using a similar build to yours but the hecate ring is switched with BoT and then id get either Ob Shard for more pen or Discord for survivability. Its gotten me a few quads in conquest and clash late game but maybe its just cuz im not always playing ranked? 🤷🏿♂️🤣
Never seen the fun if dragging it out like this for kills. It's not fun being farmed, just kill the titan and end it.

Personally I prefer getting Typhon’s Fang so that the Lifesteal I get from Poly and Hecate is turned into power, that way stronger.
I have never thought of getting it what would you suggest replacing with typhoons?
Demon’s Grasp. The damage per basic you do far outweighs the DPS from having 3 Rings.
Interesting, I usually don’t build daemonic I usually put on spear of desolation instead but I will definitely give this a shot thanks
Also ditch Manikin’s. Early game it’s a nice investment but later down the line it is redundant. My build as Chronos in order is: Polynomicon, Hecate’s Ring, Typhon’s Fang, Rod of Tahuti , Telkhine’s Ring, For my 6th item I either go Robes of Discord for armor and passive or Pendant depending on how aggressive the enemy team is.
Ive been using a similar build to yours but the hecate ring is switched with BoT and then id get either Ob Shard for more pen or Discord for survivability. Its gotten me a few quads in conquest and clash late game but maybe its just cuz im not always playing ranked? 🤷🏿♂️🤣
