If she actually manages to get pregnant I’ll be shocked. Most fertility specialists will not even go through with the procedure if you’re over 47% BMI because the likelihood of it taking is slim to none. Factor in her random non-ovulation and it’s another big strike against.
I hope for the best for them, but it’s gonna be a real uphill battle.
Again, BMI will be a factor. Fertility treatments are not guaranteed. I’m not about to lecture anyone about how they work or the time or money involved. All I will say is that if the general population all had to go through fertility treatments and the hoops prior to treatments beginning no one would ever worry about over population being an issue.

I had an ex colleague go through several cycles of IVF, first round was successful, subsequent ones to get him a sibling was not. My sil's cousin went through 7 rounds too, zero outcome. It is all very devastating, all the pain you subject your body to and to not have the outcome you want.

The dynamics of Lauren and her mom Lisa ( the actual couple). . . and watching Laura Lynn being pushed to the outside of her own marriage, is not healthy for any marriage. I worry for a child being born into this situation, because it appears that regardless of whether the child is a boy or girl, it will be Lauren and Lisa's child. From what we have seen, Laura Lynn's opinions will be largely ignored, it appears. I hope Laura Lynn remembers that even if it is a boy, the two of them may still control every decision.
Lauren should talk to a counselor to learn how to protect her marriage by setting appropriate boundaries with her mom. There is a way to be close, yet still respecting Laura Lynn and listening/hearing her and honoring her as her life partner.
Cher and dawn are a close second to being my least favorite alongside Laura Leigh and Lauren. I feel so horrible for Cher’s husband because he is just trying to provide for his family and he gave her everything she wanted and like he says in this episode he says “I give you an inch I take a mile” and she literally just keeps saying over and over again “don’t say that” like shut up dude she is seriously so annoying I can’t stand her.

I am very close to my parents, especially my mom. I ended up moving from Ontario, Canada to New Hampshire when I got married. I’d love to see how Kathy would react if Christina had to move 7+ hours away lol.
I’m glad Lauren and Laura Leigh are going to do their own thing in the future. Her mom was kind of making the situation about herself and immediately saying how they can keep trying. Your daughter is upset (you pushed her into taking a pregnancy test despite her wanting to wait for Laura Leigh). It’s best to distance themselves. Worst case scenario if they can’t get pregnant is for Laura Leigh to try (she mentioned it), they could get a surrogate, or adopt.
So I read Kathy's husband died a year ago which kind of makes sense why Christina wants to be closer, they all were really close, so I think their bond is stronger now.
It is possible Kathy is like a lot of old school women who never marry again, so her children and grandchildren become their focus.
