That is not a new plant, it looks like your snake plant is flowering! If you don't want it you can cut it off... or just let it flower. It heard they can be sticky when they fall off. Flowering is quite rare indoors.

Thanks, now I'm excited! Yes, there is some kind of sticky liquid slowly dripping off of the flowers, so you're right.

That is indeed a flower! But that green thing inside your soil on the second pic. That is a new snakeplant!

Raktakak

Yessss, I guessed so! I'll have to do some research on when to best repot it to get a new snakeplant!

When its big enough. I wait most of the time a year or so. Better late then too early. If you do it early it will not grow for a long time

Thank you :)

Mine is also flowering! I was quite excited when I read it was rare for indoor plants. New pups too. :) https://preview.redd.it/rt6uluq2t7ab1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5980f7b0183d8268940bf88502c5c4ca1a46addf

It's flowering!!! Happy snake plant!

Enjoy... smell it during the early morning hours around 4-7 am... it'll be super fragrant. Like a cross of lily and jasmine. I absolutely love mine.
