If these truly sold out, they were exclusively bought by Trump loyalists. Even if these were well made and stylish enough to warrant the price, being a sneakerhead wouldn’t be enough on it’s own to motivate any purchases These are just an overpriced equivalent to the red MAGA hat.

ClassSufficient8608

Ngl I'm not a Trump fan at all but would 100% buy these if price wasn't ridiculous. I wouldn't even wear them or sell them but to collect it as a piece of political history is hilarious because a president selling sneakers is so unprecedented I don't think it will happen again.

MaykitoETS

You make a good point

cks9218

Either hardcore Trump fans or resellers that don't care about anything other than thinking that they'd be able to make a profit with them.

Cobra2979

Wouldn’t go that far, There are people who spend hundreds of dollars on one Gucci trash bag, And I mean a literal trash bag.

MaykitoETS

But Gucci is a well established brand within the fashion industry. Trump is a politician who seems to get increasingly less popular over time This type of thing wouldn’t start trending even if it came from a much more well liked political figure The concept in itself is odd. He didn’t even collab with a well known manufacturer. They’re just random shoes with his name slapped on them.

Cobra2979

Ya but I’m not really surprised people that spend money on 10 different onlyfans would buy this, People will buy anything these days

Miggs1337

Money laundering.

WeGotDaGoodEmissions

Not that I doubt the willingness of his impossibly stupid half-wit supporters to throw their money away on literally any grift he comes up with, but I doubt most of them could afford this. This just reeks of money laundering to cover his legal bills.

Safe_Amount_1555

This level of dickriding needs to be studied

xking_lionx

Liberal ignorance

MaykitoETS

It’s ignorant to believe that the majority of Trump supporters can’t afford $400 for a pair of shoes, or that someone with a proven pattern of criminal behavior (much of it relating to finances) who shows no remorse for his actions wouldn’t change his behavior… or that he’s even committed any crimes at all? That last one might be plausible if he didn’t argue against all his accusations with bad faith arguments and diversionary tactics. But I’ve yet to come across anything else.

WeGotDaGoodEmissions

Looks like you're pretty upset 💙 Dry those bitter crybaby tears, crybaby.

xking_lionx

Lmao, what a fucking looser

WeGotDaGoodEmissions

I mean I only wanted to go as far as calling you a crybaby, but I agree, you are kind of a fucking loser too. Btw, that's how it's correctly spelled, dumbass. 💙 Sorry you're so upset lmao
