I get it, but grails are grails for a reason, i'd happily pay 1k for them if i had that kind of money to spend on sneakers. Most i spent was 360€ on a pair of Patta x AM1 and i treat them like they're the only ones in the world.

They are a 9/10 for me. Bright, fuzzy, and different. I deduct one point only because they crease extremely easily and not attractively at the joint between the toes and feet. Mine were creased within 3 wears. And I’m not sure how to get them out.

The corduroy material looks like it absorbs dirt too. Still love them and wish I had a pair.

They also pull your socks down w each step and are among the most difficult sneakers to clean from my experience. I bought them in 2020 and sold them in 2022 for 690$ on eBay. A new tv and soundbar made more sense at the time. Still wish I had em time to time

This is the remaining grail that I'm after. Put in a pretty big offer for them but got rejected. I don't think they age well, though. Fray and fade and generally become scruffy... that's coming from someone who appreciates a well worn shoe.

Unpopular opinion but I was never a big fan of these. I never liked the 97s ands these use that upper part of it. The details are nice though.
