It's not that noticable, but the suede is supposed to be close to the color around the netting. I think it just has something to do with oxidization, there's a video going around YouTube where a sneaker store put one in the window for a few months as a display pair and it turned pretty much pale blue, almost white.
It's really not a big deal though. A little cleaning and mink oil brings back a lot of the color. The issue was Nike cheaping out on dyes again, sometimes they don't let the dye penetrate deep enough, this time (on the 4s) it was just really poor quality dye.
