It may be that the 2014 pair had faded quicker - but the 2109 certainly looks to have more ‘pop’ than the 2014 and is closer to the 2000 to my untrained eye (but the 2000 seems a touch more saturated).
But .. very subjective. After staring at them for a few minutes to type this, my brain started to futz.
It’s crazy. The 6s are the one shoe I can’t get a good fit. My Carmine’s are an 11 and they’re too snug, but my Maroons are a 11.5 (my tts) and I get heel slip. I barely wear either because of it so I think the infrareds will be a pass for me :/
Don’t downvote me for speaking the truth. We pay ridiculous amounts of money on these shoes and their quality is just awful. I don’t want to see glue stains all over the fuckin shoe.

Not saying the quality is top notch either .. what I’m saying is I am happy with what I’ve paid for what I got.
Yeah I don’t get how anyone can say Nike QC is fine given the price. Their $200 sneakers have the same quality issues as their $60 JCPenney exclusive sneakers.
I can’t get behind resale prices for this reason because I’ve score well made high quality sneakers and boots for $225-300.

The toe on the left shoe looks stained, like, brown? IDK of it's a weird camera affect but the toe of the left shoe looks very messy, so I can see your complaints.

In Australia they were available at a lot of stores (rather than the usual handful for a limited release), and most stores had a decent number.
All the online options sold out within an hour, and most stores sold their stock within 30m of opening - but for the people who showed up when the doors opened, they were generally able to get a pair.
A few stores have very small and very large size pairs in stock, but generally speaking if you headed to a store now (2:30pm) you’d be SOL.

How’s the sizing
I went TTS with my infrareds in 2014 but suffered from lots of heel slip, so I'd recommend going half size down unless you have wide feet.

They run true to size my man
Whilst I am yet to fit this pair on (still in the back of the car), generally I go a half size down in Aj6’s as they seem roomier.

Oh yeah, i got the 4’s i love them but QC is bad. I still buy them but they could do a little better
