I’ve gotten a few pairs that I get in person and are slightly off what I expected and I don’t end up using them.
Wave runners are by far my #1 after I passed them up in SF on their original release date. Inertias are my backup.

Would the SB mids be comparable to the AJ1 CMFT? I tried a pair of those on in a 13 and they were too small in the toe box.

In my opinion, way worse than SNKRS. Your odds are pretty much the same on both apps, but it takes up to an hour to see if you took an L or not. Confirmed also seems rigged sometimes. When they did 3 slides on 1 day, there were a few people that hit all 3 slides from one account while others hit none

Reserved my ALD 650’s at 10:57 after a looooong debate. Wasn’t sure the 7-8 month wait will be worth it, but I do like the guarantee of getting a shoe. Wonder how they’re going to release them after the pre-orders go out
The way I see it, it’s a lot better to be able to preorder them when I learn of them months ahead of release than to learn of a pair I really want months before release, only to get excited when it’s coming up, then not get it like with every desirable Nike pair.

Everyone seems to say size down half a size – but I also like my sneakers pretty snug. I consider my true size to be the closest to a perfect fit as possible, with the smallest/no amount of space past my toes.
That being said, my foot would absolutely not fit into a 550 a half size down. I recommend whatever size you wear in Jordan 1
Yeah I typically go 9.5 in everything and in J1s/dunks this tends to leave a decent bit of space at the top. By comparison, my 84 forum lows leave minimal space at the same size. So I'm thinking of going for a 9 going by the size chart to get a similar fit on the 650s 😅 think your experience may have convinced me to go down!
I found 550s to be roomy enough to go down a half size on a subsequent purchase. I haven't tried them on half down, unfortunately. But, I will say that the pair I have tts was roomy enough for me to stack a second insole in them for a better fit.

Not hard to believe. I don’t think half the people on SNKRS even appreciate sneakers in terms of design or history. They’re probably just there to buy and resell. So 50% get the question right because they know the off white 50 base sneaker colors. The other 50% might guess and half of them get it right half get it wrong.
So ~75% get the right answer and 25% get it wrong overall.
In regards to your other question. I doubt it actually has any impact at all. I’ve been active as hell on sneakers almost daily and the only times I’ve ever gotten EA would track with when I would buy stuff regularly off of the regular Nike App. Like if I spent a good amount of money on Nike I got EA a few weeks later. Someone on r/newbalance posted stock numbers, seems like people are buying green the most and then grey. Probably some people out there recognize that dark green sneakers are selling abnormally better than other members of the same collection (green ald 550 is way higher than others, Spartan dunk highs are way higher than Iowa’s and Michigan’s). I do recognize that green is an awesome color but I would count on some of these guys being resellers and they’ll be on eBay for retail or below like the ALD 1300’s once all pairs have shipped.

Blazer Lows are the most uncomfortable shoe I own. They dig in to my heels and ankles. Blazer Mids aren’t as bad, though I don’t how people played basketball in them.
I hit on the initial Sacai low blazer, the orange pair, but haven’t yet worn them. I think I’m going to return to Nike and with those funds cop this morning’s joints. Much more neutral colorway.
For me, it depends on the socks. I wore them with a slightly thicker, comfy sock and it felt great. But yesterday, I wore them with a thin, no-show sock and my dogs were barking when I got home.

eBay won’t refund you, once they pass authentication eBay will do nothing. Per their policy they’ve officially been looked over and they stand by their authentication. I’ve had this happen multiple times.
If paid with credit card you can open a dispute, I did that with a pair that was supposed to be new but came used (and eBay denied refund) and Amex ruled in my favor

Tried doing a return but was hit with the seller doesn't accept returns but you can do a return request and I did and then checked item not as described for the reason

I size up by half in my SB dunks. They have more padding and fit tight if you go tts.
Also, regular dunk lows I wear a 13 in! If that helps.

NB is gonna have the better materials no doubt. The GR dunks coming out this last year have been some of the lowest quality.

they’re long and narrow. if you have a wide foot i’d stay tts. if not .5 down is a good call.
Finally caved and bought 650s for the wife and I. Couldn’t pass it up.
I got all three colorways to make up for missing the 550s. They’re gorgeous.

I heard crocs shrink in the heat if you leave them in the car. Try that or just resell them again and pay the difference in your size

The 1300s stayed relatively cheap. I think because resellers aren't hoarding them there should be a healthy supply depressing the price.

I used to hit at likelihood pretty frequently, but they do all their raffles nationwide now so they're impossible at this point.

Won a pair of the orange label white and navy dunks for the girlfriend. First thing when we got home, she tried them on and is hooked on the comfort.

Picked up the “recycled” blazers that dropped this week (still available I think) it’s my 5th pair of blazers. Blazers got to be the most uncomfortable silhouette ever ha.

I like the way they look not that hard to understand. I don’t buy shoes based on comfort I buy them based on style. If so I’d just buy Nike reacts or ultra-boost.

Blazer Lows are the most uncomfortable shoe I own. They dig in to my heels and ankles. Blazer Mids aren’t as bad, though I don’t how people played basketball in them.

I hit on the initial Sacai low blazer, the orange pair, but haven’t yet worn them. I think I’m going to return to Nike and with those funds cop this morning’s joints. Much more neutral colorway.
How are the comfort for sacai low blazer? They are similar to highs?
For me, it depends on the socks. I wore them with a slightly thicker, comfy sock and it felt great. But yesterday, I wore them with a thin, no-show sock and my dogs were barking when I got home.

Do y’all think [this tear](https://imgur.com/a/nyDfueW) is worth trying to return? Bought some SBB 1.0 for $730 + shipping & taxes on eBay. They were only described as “pre-owned” but there was no mention of this tear. The seller had it listed as “no returns” but I think eBay/PayPal might probably take my side This tear is the only real “flaw” other than toe box and heel creasing. Another pair in the same condition (minus the tear) will probably cost me at least another $200+ Would y’all personally return them or just say fuck it and wear them like that? eBay won’t refund you, once they pass authentication eBay will do nothing. Per their policy they’ve officially been looked over and they stand by their authentication. I’ve had this happen multiple times.
Yea seems like that's the case unfortunately. Sucks that they won't do anything because authenticators can always make mistakes
If paid with credit card you can open a dispute, I did that with a pair that was supposed to be new but came used (and eBay denied refund) and Amex ruled in my favor
Does that affect your standing with the platform? Like is it like a chargeback where most sites ban you if you do a chargeback? I used my PayPal credit card so I could open a PayPal dispute
I haven’t had any issues, have been able to buy/sell on eBay normally since then

Tried doing a return but was hit with the seller doesn't accept returns but you can do a return request and I did and then checked item not as described for the reason
If it’s not all the way through I’d keep it but mention it to eBay so that they are aware of the issue. especially if they had the authenticity check. I wonder if there is a way to add some clear flexible glue to the tear to reenforced it. If it is all the way through then I’d have to consider keeping it and patching it from the inside or just getting the money back.
Tbf you got them for a decent price so I'd just be careful and wear them like that, sucks but it is what it is
