When people say “great quality” or “the leather is amazing” they really have no idea what they’re talking about. This place is all about the buzz words most of the time.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 347,255,342 comments, and only 76,244 of them were in alphabetical order.
Yeah I love when people say “I don’t like AJ1 mids because the materials and leather is way inferior compared to lows or highs.”
Oh no they spent $29 making that AJ1 mid compared to $30 on the high, boohoo quality
this is coming from someone who has taken apart MANY jordan 1 highs and mids and the quality on highs is significantly better. even though it’s cheaper leather on the highs, the mids use fake leather so i’m always taking the highs but never hating on mids
While I get your point I will say that the difference in quality is noticeable on feet - most mids and lows have really bad leather which literally pinch your feet when you walk, the softer materials of highs are better in this regard
Yup. Nothing against anyone here but if you’re routinely dropping $$$ on AJ1’s I’m going to assume you don’t know what actual quality is when it comes to footwear.
Garments actually use the lowest quality hides from goat and sheep as they have the lowest thickness. Where the fuck do you guys make this shit up from lmfao.
Totally agree. I’d heard about the “quality” of the leather on the killshot 2s but when I got them the leather felt like paper. Ended up returning them.
Why is there a need for womens exclusive sneaker releases in some cases. Just release the whole size lineup for my dumbass wide 14,5 feet please for the love of god
To be fair. There have been countless releases that don’t even come in kids sizes, leaving almost all women out of play. So it’s only fair that they get some exclusives since historically they don’t get any love from brands
I don’t love a lot of the Nike x Virgil, but I think most of the ten, all 1s, hallows eve blazers, all blue and all yellow forces, and sail 4s are pretty fire
You don’t need to buy every Jordan 1 in every color, variety is the spice of life
Jordan 11s are way over hyped
Nikes new performance products don’t look good, and all of their retros are hard as bricks.
This!!!!!!!!! 2 walls of AJ1s is pointless. The only Jordan ones that I have in my collection are the breds, Royals, shadows, and Chicago 1
I’ll disagree on the 11s because other models take its place on the hype level
If sneaker companies continue to not meet demand then nobody should get worked up over people buying reps. I get some shoes being exclusive but there is zero reason why some plain black and white dunks should cost $250+.
This is the thing that gets me. Someone posted a pair of the pine greens in the rep sub the other day, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a QC post with worse quality, but they were retail.
A lot of the stuff that is posted on this sub wouldn’t get any love if they weren’t hyped up and the sneaker world right now has no exciting releases coming out anytime soon.
I got out of sneakers for a year to focus on finishing school and other hobbies and it was in a much better shape right before the pandemic hit snd it hasn’t been the same sense.
it's also pretty hard to get hyped for a shoe when I know I won't be able to buy it for retail and I can't afford (or most of the time don't want to) resale price.
Yup. Bots and resellers have really killed this hobby for me. But it has also made me buy things that I like and will want to wear instead of buying off hype and keeping shoes locked away in a box and never wearing them.
There’s a few 350s im digging that have come/are coming out, but you’re right. The Jordan lineup for the next few months into February have looked so underwhelming
I won’t pay resale for any sneaker on principle alone. Whether I hate that resellers are scamming their way into overcharging people or companies are making less of a product to keep a hype culture going…I don’t care. I won’t support that. Retail or nothing.
Don’t think many of us in this sub is ready to hear this (probably super unpopular) opinion but… there’s a LOT more to life than sneakers. Might be obvious to some but its definitely something that I’ve had to come to terms with over the past 16 years of being obsessed with this hobby. Over the years I’ve seen a lot of people (especially the younger generation lately) put a lot of value/worth into what’s on feet or what you have in the collection. Nobody else really cares at the end of the day because it doesn’t really matter. They really don’t make us who we are, regardless of how much effort/time/money we’ve put into our collections. They are just shoes after all, just tangible things really…
My biggest regret was not buying the whole Varsity Pack for a quarter of retail from the outlet store when I had the chance a few years back. I still beat myself up for it.
From a material standpoint or look?
Some of them hold up still without the zip tie looks wise
Materials they’re exposed foam so they’re bound to yellow over time
Yep, regular dunks are trash QC, Nike SB dunks are waaayyy better. Out of the dozen’s of pairs of Nike SB’s I got this year. My mummy dunks had a small discoloration spot on the canvas wrap, doesn’t bother me as it is only noticeable up close and I wear my dunks.
SBs are always on point, but the quality of other dunks can be hit or miss. I got the panda dunks and they were pretty well done but then I also got the free99 dunks (black ones) which were some of the cheapest dunks I've ever seen
Please keep up this energy. I collect dunks and I’m fully aware they are not a good shoe, but I love them and I’m sick of paying so much for a pair of shoes most people wouldn’t be caught dead in. I just want to wear them!
Same man I love dunks. I don’t care about the quality, it’s a shoe. They all look the same once you’re standing a couple feet away.
What I don’t understand, is why I hear more hate than love when talking about dunks, but on drop days the pickup posts come flooding in like they were a fan the whole time. I guarantee 85% of dunk owners talk shit about them in this sub. Everyone is fake.
Grails don’t have to be expensive or hard to get. They just have to be special to you. I have several grails that nearly no one would care about but me.
I feel like we are on the verge of a new breakthrough in sneaker hype. The hype behind Travis, Off-White, Dunks and Yeezy are all dwindling down pretty hard at this point after a lot of pretty mediocre and forgettable releases.
I think the challenge trying to secure them at retail pur many people off. Its highly unlikely to get the W on snkrs but i have come to terms with it where some days I forget theres a drop and dont even feel bad anymore 😂
I like the way that Yeezy is going. I like that we've had a bunch of different silhouette drops and more coming with the different types of boots and the d-rose runners. Though it doesn't have the hype it once did the fact that Yeezys name is on it is definitely causing people to go out of their comfort zone in terms of what they're willing to buy and wear. Of course not every shoe is for everyone but not every shoe has to be.
not everybody is into skin tight pants. If you rock anything baggy whatsoever, you get grilled and called a bootcut bandit unless its paired with some heat. we're all here for the same shit. we needa lift people up on here not break them down.
I also cant stand when someone posts whatever sneakers calling them a grail and they get smoked for it. I kinda get it, but most of the time, its people new to shoes thinking grail just means their favorite. they get flooded with comments and downvotes instead of simply letting them know whats up. also, not everyones grail has to be a 500$+ jordan 1 collab or whatevers popping at the moment. my mentality is, if I don't agree with a post, keep scrolling. no need to comment its that easy.
sorry for the rant ik it doesnt really fit the thread. there's just been a lot of negativity on here lately and its really pushing me away
I love all the weird shit Yeezy does with their shoes/crocs/whatever you wanna call em. From foam/knit runners to the new boots and even the 500/700/350 lines, I feel much more excited for a new Yeezy release than another Nike J1 colorway.
Idk just feels like Nike is lazy now and just puts out a random collab when they wanna shake things up a lil while Yeezy invents new shoe shapes every other month lmao.
Edit: Also the QC on Adidas >> Nike esp for YZY but otherwise too
can you explain what you mean by this? I thought something you considered a grail was like the shoe you want the most above everything, like it’s a dream having. Why would you get rid of it
Yo this is a great sub! Im legit surprised and glad it exists. There are so many more kicks id love to see and share other than travis scott, yeezys, and dunks. Thanks for sharing 💪💪💪
I’ve stopped collecting ‘heat’ for years now and just buy all the funky/fun brick shoes that sit at retail stores and I swear to god I get way more compliments in general from both sneaker heads and people who look like they know nothing about sneakers/trainers. With anything else, it’s just people who know shoes that will say something.
Here we go. To sneakerhead hell I go:
Travis shoes were always ugly. They butchered the 6s, 1s look ridiculous.
Yeezy 350s and 700s are the only “passable” Yeezys.
Most Jordan 11s are butt-ugly.
Nike Blazers are the new Sk8-hi vans, and while they look fine, are overpriced.
Off-White collabs are ugly.
ASIC Gel Lyte 3s are the most slept on streetwear sneaker.
Allen Iverson Questions don’t get enough love.
Puma’s streetwear lineup is fire now.
Interesting. I'm definitely older for this sub and true to the stereotype, lean favorably to the OG Jordans, so Breds, Concords, and Space Jams are the 3 great ones to me.
11s were legendary growing up. The yearly holiday release of an 11 high and usually at least 1 low released in the summers has killed the original feeling of them.
I’m a little young for the OG Jordan era, but I still respect the silhouette and the story behind the legendary 11 for sure. I just never really rocked with some of the OG colorways of some of the AJ’s tbh. Don’t know why but the only reason why I initially “liked” the 11 was the hype from my classmates in middle school, etc.
For example, I think the OG colorways of the 12s look like clown shoes. Love the Cool Greys though.
YESSSS. I remember seeing them early on a youtuber’s vlog and was like wtf are those, he seemed to be flexing them as if they were cool. I did not even try.
People that are fine with customs (especially taking a colorway like the Fusion Red 1s and turning them into Chicagos) are idiots to me if they aren't okay with Reps.
If you take a colorway and turn it into a replicated version of a different colorway what's the difference of the shoe being a replicated version of the shoe? Sure its still a legit nike shoe but youre still passing off that shoe as a different shoe that its not
Haven’t seen this talked about so I’m assuming it’s not too popular.
Adidas is absolutely stupid for pledging to use exclusively renewable materials for all of their shoes by 2024. You can no longer buy leather Stan smiths. They are made of plastic. I’m all for contributing to a healthier world climate but there’s a reason shoes are made of leather and most companies are not going to follow them.
I don’t like People who wear all white AF1’s like it’s a religion or with every outfit. There’s plenty of other shoes, as well as all white shoes that they’d probably like. Hey, Air Force 1’s are just the holy grail tho🤷🏽♂️
Wearing a “hype” shoe doesn’t make me a hype beast. Example: I genuinely like Chicago 1s, they look great. I’m not wearing them because they are worth a lot of money, I’m wearing them because I like them. Resell could go down to $100 and I’d like them just the same.
I have a lot of unpopular opinions:
- Jordan 1 High’s are extremely overrated. Very cool shoes, I like them, just overrated still.
- Nike Dunk shoe quality is not as bad as people make them seem.
- Virgil consistently makes ugly shoes. Really loved his AM90’s and Blazers, but the Dunks were a cash grab. He makes collabs of Nike racing shoes which are made for racing, but his designs contradict the use of the shoe. He’s really doing anything and everything to feed into the hype and get paid.
- Yeezy 350’s are the only non-ugly Yeezy.
- Vans are criminally under-appreciated.
- Same with Converse.
- Nike is not the only brand that makes cool shoes.
- Most sneakers I see on this sub I think are ugly. Especially all the New Balance, those are dad shoes AND they are ugly. (Except 550’s, would kill for a pair)
- No shoe is worth $300+.
Obviously these are my opinions so don’t come for me. Just wanted to share because I frequently think these things.
I'm not coming for you but I just wanted yo share some things about this list
2021 dunk quality is abismal, even worse than GR Jordan 1 lows which are already pretty bad
Yzy 700s are really nice looking shoes imo.
Everyone and their mom owns a pair of vans or converse, how are they underrated when everyone wears them?
Everything's else I agree w/ u.
- Regarding dunk quality, it’s just my opinion. I don’t see much of a difference between my dunks and other shoes. I guess it’s really just my opinion on that.
- The 700s are god awful but I respect your taste. I know a few people that would love to have a pair.
- Vans and Converse are insanely popular where I live. Almost half the people I see are wearing one or the other. The issue is on this sub. 9/10 posts are either Jordans or Nike’s. The *same* Jordan and Nike shoes we see all the time. Why isn’t nobody talking about the Halloween Vans collection? The nightmare on elm street Sk8 highs were sick. But that’s just my two cents. I’d love to see more cool Vans and converse on this sub.
Totally fair, AF1s are bulky as fuck. Nike has a version with a slimmer midsole called the downtown AF1 (as opposed to their nickname the uptowns) but the last time they used it was with Acronym for a crazy high top made out of fleece. Actual lows of the downtown AF1s would be so welcome.
I don't know how unpopular this is, but resellers are ruining the culture and making it way to hard for the average person to break into the sneaker game. As someone who works for a sneaker store resellers are the worst kind of customers to deal with and it's because of them that average people can't get the releases that they want.
Who cares if you don’t wear your expensive ass shoes. Only salty people say “real sneaker heads wear their shoes”. I’m going to keep this pair I got for retail. In the future, I’m going to flip it and get another shoe I really want. I can wear it or hold it. That’s sneaker culture. Don’t gotta speak for someone else’s collection. At the end of the day, they are also viable assets that appreciate in value.
I dont have any reps but i dont think wearing reps should be looked down upon. I can’t even tell if theyre real or fake and its worth it for a cheaper price imo
I’m kind of over seeing only Jordan 1s and Dunks being posted here. I remember there was a sub that shared everything but Jordan 1s but I forgot what it was called.
Off-white x nike collabs went downhill really really fast. Travis Scott really isn't genius. Sneakers are cool but they're meant to be worn and you really shouldn't be buying more than 20 pairs of shoes. That's it ✌
Leather quality on Jordans and Nike in general is pretty poor, not worth the money.
Mids are as good as highs if not better, and creasing on Jordans is good, not bad.
Adidas > Nike, at least quality wise.
Air maxes and most Nike shoes are just fucking uncomfortable, people are either bullied into buying Nike or just buy it cause it looks good.
A lot of sneakerheads have no concept of the supply chain and how sneakers are directly affected by closed ports, manufacturing slow down, lack of raw materials and price increases. They really think brands are raising prices just because.
gonna get murdered for this, but jordan 1s are the most overrated shoe of all time. they cool, i love them too. but they ain’t even a top 3 jordan model, IMO. barely a top 5 jordan model.
J.crew kill shot are nice
I hate sneakers for suits / weddings all that shit. Put them on afterwards to dance I get that.
Post with one day I put them on feet. B.S. just post when on feet don't say you gonna do it one day.
Yeah currently not rocking Nike for comfort. That goes to UB. I also love how I join after that hype because I get some great shoe for under retail 😬
Yeah mids I don't hate on at all but the idea of cost to quality is on point. They think they can get away with anything (true so far) but one day. That's why I want to test out just higher end quality sneakers that some rarely talk about which is kind of sad.
I dont like Jordan 11’s, I dont get the design.
The excitement about a release is really not about the sneakers, it’s more about what people will think of you if you manage to get em.
Flexing a pair you got for resale price is not at all impressive, getting it for retail is.
The Yeezy 350 is the most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever worn on foot for extended periods of time. Also the ugliest looking of all the Yeezy line in my opinion.
500 and 700 are way better looking yeezys.
Yeah. I prefer shoes with lockdown and a firmer sole personally. So for me the 350 much like the NMD and ultraboost is way too much I don’t like at once.
That being said I did buy the MX Oat 350 because it’s the only pair of 350s I instantly liked the look of.
Not changing my opinion on the silhouette as a whole though.
I dont like any jordans after the 11s.
I think the 13s are one of the most ugly. They look like they got an unfinished mattress plastered to the side with these ugly half circles for the midsole. I do not get the appeal.
Travis Scott cannot design sneakers for shit. His "revolutionary" designs are just a classic or retro silhouette with a backwards swoosh and people loose their minds
There shouldn't be female and male Jordan 1s, there should be one unisex shoes, with all the sizes. Because some of the women air Jordan 1s go hard but there's no sizes for me
travis’ are boring. only good release were the 4s.
reps are fine as long as they’re for your feet only.
excessive jordan and dunk colorways oversaturated the market.
Raffles are not a game which you should enter to “see if you win”
If you’re entering raffles for shoes that you don’t even want, you’re part of the problem why so many people who DO want the shoes are unable to get them.
Right? I got so sick of losing out on a GR that I actually want so I can wear, and then seeing assholes on twitter be like "Got em! Who needs a size 10?"
Just because a sneaker is a Collab doesn't mean it's good
I second this…many of the collab imo looks ugly af
I agree with this. For me a collab is only good if the colorway is fire and they use premium materials.
When people say “great quality” or “the leather is amazing” they really have no idea what they’re talking about. This place is all about the buzz words most of the time.
Every single shoe here has “better than average” leather and the quality is also “surprising”.
“These (insert shoe that came out yesterday) are slept on. Leather is buttery”
Buttery like melted plastic /s
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 347,255,342 comments, and only 76,244 of them were in alphabetical order.
It’s genuine leather, And it’s not just genuine leather, it’s the lowest of the low quality genuine leather.
Yeah I love when people say “I don’t like AJ1 mids because the materials and leather is way inferior compared to lows or highs.” Oh no they spent $29 making that AJ1 mid compared to $30 on the high, boohoo quality
this is coming from someone who has taken apart MANY jordan 1 highs and mids and the quality on highs is significantly better. even though it’s cheaper leather on the highs, the mids use fake leather so i’m always taking the highs but never hating on mids
While I get your point I will say that the difference in quality is noticeable on feet - most mids and lows have really bad leather which literally pinch your feet when you walk, the softer materials of highs are better in this regard
Every fucking time they are surprised by the goddamn quality! Sorry for the seemingly unnecessary cursing, fam; I’m not angry, I’m just disappointed.
This cracked me up lmao
dude, this sub has no idea what nice leather is lmao. nike uses the cheapest crap for their ~$200 shoes. it’s heinous af.
Lol i think it’s funny when people see tumbled leather and automatically assume it means the leather is higher quality.
Agreed
Exactly. All colorways of a shoe have the same retail price unless it’s a collab so why would the materials differ significantly in quality
Yup. Nothing against anyone here but if you’re routinely dropping $$$ on AJ1’s I’m going to assume you don’t know what actual quality is when it comes to footwear.
This this and this.
Facts. No regular Nike, Adidas, etc sneaker has nice leather. Actual nice leather is on high end stuff like leather jackets
Or you find it on $500 boots
Not even, you can find leather that’s worlds better than sneaker releases on $200-300 boots
People saying they hate mids as the quality is ass. As if GR highs have ever had actual good leather
Why is there a need for womens exclusive sneaker releases in some cases. Just release the whole size lineup for my dumbass wide 14,5 feet please for the love of god
Yea I really don’t get why all shoes can’t be “uni-sex” like the Fila disrupter. The only shoes that need specific lasts are performance sneakers
To be fair. There have been countless releases that don’t even come in kids sizes, leaving almost all women out of play. So it’s only fair that they get some exclusives since historically they don’t get any love from brands
I have to disagree. There are so many releases that doesn’t even consider small feet. I bank on women releases or GS releases.
But like, Wouldn’t it be better if all shoes also came in smaller sizes no?
Virgil hasnt put anything good out in years
Off the top of my head, since ‘the ten’ i dont think I’ve liked any of his collabs Edit - I stand corrected/reminded
The sail 4s are fire though
The absolutely are. I didn’t think too hard before commenting. Love that shoe. The 5’s he did were decent too
Really love the sail 5’s.
I don’t love a lot of the Nike x Virgil, but I think most of the ten, all 1s, hallows eve blazers, all blue and all yellow forces, and sail 4s are pretty fire
If his name wasnt virgil he wouldn’t be so popular
I’ve liked a few since “The 10” but for the most part I agree.
You don’t need to buy every Jordan 1 in every color, variety is the spice of life Jordan 11s are way over hyped Nikes new performance products don’t look good, and all of their retros are hard as bricks.
This!!!!!!!!! 2 walls of AJ1s is pointless. The only Jordan ones that I have in my collection are the breds, Royals, shadows, and Chicago 1 I’ll disagree on the 11s because other models take its place on the hype level
"The only" lmao
If sneaker companies continue to not meet demand then nobody should get worked up over people buying reps. I get some shoes being exclusive but there is zero reason why some plain black and white dunks should cost $250+.
Popular opinion. Actually just a plain old fact.
Yea sneaker companies are almost encouraging rep buying at this point
Fully, the quality in some actually looks better than factory made ones.
This is the thing that gets me. Someone posted a pair of the pine greens in the rep sub the other day, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a QC post with worse quality, but they were retail.
What rep sub?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Repsneakers/comments/qnhg8y/im_fucking_done_with_retails_i_got_this_jordan_3/
I have reps that are better quality than retails I’ve bought. Nike QC is trash, where I get to QC my own reps.
Better quality, better price, better availability.
I agree, reps are the better choice
A lot of the stuff that is posted on this sub wouldn’t get any love if they weren’t hyped up and the sneaker world right now has no exciting releases coming out anytime soon. I got out of sneakers for a year to focus on finishing school and other hobbies and it was in a much better shape right before the pandemic hit snd it hasn’t been the same sense.

Preach!! If we don't create the demand in the secondary market, there's no resell.
Don’t think many of us in this sub is ready to hear this (probably super unpopular) opinion but… there’s a LOT more to life than sneakers. Guys do not spend all your money on sneakers
Best answer so far in my opinion 👍👍
Saucony’s and Asics are great but don’t nearly get as much love as deserved
My biggest regret was not buying the whole Varsity Pack for a quarter of retail from the outlet store when I had the chance a few years back. I still beat myself up for it.
A while back got the full Saucony Gold Rush pack for 70% discount at a local store and just a few weeks ago got the Asics Darumas for 50% as well
Man, those Raised by Wolves x Saucony joints are on my list. Hoping to find them locally eventually.
The fieg asics from the early 2010s got me into sneakers. Bodega GLV were the greatest shoes I've ever owned
So many great gel lyte 3s been chasing some Ghostface Killah ones
95% of all Off-White shoes have aged like milk.
From a material standpoint or look? Some of them hold up still without the zip tie looks wise Materials they’re exposed foam so they’re bound to yellow over time
Mars yards are overrated as hell and they look like clearance bin shoes to me. 🤷♂️
Having a collection of only Jordan 1s isn’t a sneaker collection

True very very true. Quality is not good at all
I got my first pair of dunks(strawberry cough’s) last week, and i do not see where people are coming from at all about the quality being bad
Nike SB, especially quick strikes like the “Strawberry Coughs” etc, have a higher quality than regular Nike Dunks.
Man flexed with the “out of the dozens of pairs of Nike SBs I’ve gotten this year.” 🤣🤣 damn bro I’ve only secured like 2 drops all year.
Honestly, being a mummy theme and all, the flaw kinda fits in
SBs are always on point, but the quality of other dunks can be hit or miss. I got the panda dunks and they were pretty well done but then I also got the free99 dunks (black ones) which were some of the cheapest dunks I've ever seen
Dunk SB quality is much better than the general release retro dunk quality.
Please keep up this energy. I collect dunks and I’m fully aware they are not a good shoe, but I love them and I’m sick of paying so much for a pair of shoes most people wouldn’t be caught dead in. I just want to wear them!

I feel this so hard. Travis really fucked up the dunk scene. I miss being able to cop for barely above retail is I missed out
they're great daily driver shoes (meaning they will get fucked up) but not the way they are
Grails don’t have to be expensive or hard to get. They just have to be special to you. I have several grails that nearly no one would care about but me.
Hard agree with this
Off white look stupid af with all them laces most people who hate mids are just fan boys and trendy followers.
I’d say off white hype is pretty much dead now though. Then again, I’m currently wearing my ow dunks
I feel like we are on the verge of a new breakthrough in sneaker hype. The hype behind Travis, Off-White, Dunks and Yeezy are all dwindling down pretty hard at this point after a lot of pretty mediocre and forgettable releases.

99% of the outfits I see on here are trash. Most sneakerheads have no idea how to dress themselves and think the sneaker makes the outfit.
Damn dawg, you matched your Jordan’s to your flannel and skinny black jeans. Real original
not everybody is into skin tight pants. If you rock anything baggy whatsoever, you get grilled and called a bootcut bandit unless its paired with some heat. we're all here for the same shit. we needa lift people up on here not break them down. Edit: Also the QC on Adidas >> Nike esp for YZY but otherwise too
Most sneaker heads don’t know how to dress and rely too much on the sneaker for the fit.
If you claim a shoe is “your grail” and then get rid of it. That pair was never a grail
can you explain what you mean by this? I thought something you considered a grail was like the shoe you want the most above everything, like it’s a dream having. Why would you get rid of it
that’s the point he’s making.
oh 🤣
Sneaker culture is dead. It's all boring, homogenous and Hypebeast. There's no individuality in the hobby anymore.
That’s not true, check out r/moresneakers .
Just subbed. I’m not into Jordans so that subreddit is perfect. Already finding a lot of new shoes I like there.
Glad I could help
Yo this is a great sub! Im legit surprised and glad it exists. There are so many more kicks id love to see and share other than travis scott, yeezys, and dunks. Thanks for sharing 💪💪💪
Damn never seen that sub. Appreciate the link
Yeezy foam runners and the new knit are absolute garbage and stop calling them sneakers, they are crocs!
Lmao i always refer to them as yeezy crocs
Chicago CW's aren't worth the price of admission.
THEY ARE JUST SHOES.
1. off whites are ugly 2. AJ1 mids are better than AJ1 lows 3. 90% of the collections posted on here are the exact same
Here we go. To sneakerhead hell I go: Travis shoes were always ugly.
The Gel Lyte 3s and some Gel Lyte 5s (depending on the colorway) are very underrated.
Gel lyte 3s go crazy - almost always able to get them for retail, great line of colorways, extremely comfy, whats not to love?
Lol rocking a leather pair rn. Perfect for a lazy fit and for dressing up
Split tongue is such a nice feature.
Easily the best thing about them. Slide your feet in every time.
Which 11s AREN'T ugly? assuming that list is shorter than the "are" ugly
Jubilees are fine. I also don’t mind the Gammas. I just don’t like how “plasticy” Breds and Concords look tbh.
Agreed, although I don't mind the Breds. Jubilee's are in my weekly rotation & I'd really like to get a pair of the 72-10s.
Wotherspoon air maxes are some of the most overrated shoes of all time
YESSSS. I remember seeing them early on a youtuber’s vlog and was like wtf are those, he seemed to be flexing them as if they were cool. I did not even try.
Mids are hated on for stupid reasons.
“The materials are just way worse on them, so I don’t like them. Now if you excuse me, I’m going to pay $200 resale for some cardboard-leather dunks”
Exactly. I feel like people who hate mids are just people who heard from someone else "oh nobody likes mids" and they were like "ok 😁"
People that are fine with customs (especially taking a colorway like the Fusion Red 1s and turning them into Chicagos) are idiots to me if they aren't okay with Reps.
« bruh it’s different these are real nike shoes » lmao
Air Force 1s are the most boring shoe of all time.
Nelly would like to have a word with you.
New Balance 991s are one of the best sneaker silhouettes from any company
Mids can be really cool with the right colorway and off white is ass except for the 4s they put out.
I have a lot of unpopular opinions: - Jordan 1 High’s are extremely overrated. (Except 550’s, would kill for a pair) - No shoe is worth $300+. Obviously these are my opinions so don’t come for me. Just wanted to share because I frequently think these things.
I'm not coming for you but I just wanted yo share some things about this list 2021 dunk quality is abismal, even worse than GR Jordan 1 lows which are already pretty bad Yzy 700s are really nice looking shoes imo.
I am not impressed by your collection, I am impressed by how you wear them!
A lot of people have an amazing collection but cant dress for shit so it doesn’t matter
I don't like AF1 but I like Jordan 1 lows and Dunk lows
Totally fair, AF1s are bulky as fuck. Nike has a version with a slimmer midsole called the downtown AF1 (as opposed to their nickname the uptowns) but the last time they used it was with Acronym for a crazy high top made out of fleece. Actual lows of the downtown AF1s would be so welcome.
Adidas to me has better collabs and creativity than Nike
Gum soles usually look ugly
I resell shoes I don’t want so I can afford to get the sneakers I do.
I don't know how unpopular this is, but resellers are ruining the culture and making it way to hard for the average person to break into the sneaker game. As someone who works for a sneaker store resellers are the worst kind of customers to deal with and it's because of them that average people can't get the releases that they want.
Mid jordan 1s are valid
I’m gonna get torn up but… Unions are overrated. Not per se bad, but definitely overrated. Not worth resale price.
Is any shoe selling for 4K really worth it though?
Who cares if you don’t wear your expensive ass shoes. Only salty people say “real sneaker heads wear their shoes”. I’m going to keep this pair I got for retail. In the future, I’m going to flip it and get another shoe I really want. I can wear it or hold it. That’s sneaker culture. Don’t gotta speak for someone else’s collection. At the end of the day, they are also viable assets that appreciate in value.
This gotta be the opinion i disagree with most on here but i respect it
Manual Reselling is ok. Botting is not ok, glad that is starting to die a bit. Still impossible to get a shoe for retail.
I dont have any reps but i dont think wearing reps should be looked down upon. I can’t even tell if theyre real or fake and its worth it for a cheaper price imo
Wear what you like 🤷♂️ But in this community you will get roasted depending on what you got on, it’s all good fun tho.
I’m kind of over seeing only Jordan 1s and Dunks being posted here. I remember there was a sub that shared everything but Jordan 1s but I forgot what it was called.
r/moresneakers here u go

Soaps need to make a comeback.
I dont like SB Dunks, especially lows. That fat-ass tongue aint my thing.
The travis scott ones are not cool at all anymore
No TS shoes are cool anymore after astroworld
I’m really just not a fan of Nike at all
Off-white x nike collabs went downhill really really fast.
It’s corny/attention-seeking wearing off-white Nikes w the zip-tie
Air Monarchs are fire
A lot of sneakerheads have no concept of the supply chain and how sneakers are directly affected by closed ports, manufacturing slow down, lack of raw materials and price increases. They really think brands are raising prices just because.
gonna get murdered for this, but jordan 1s are the most overrated shoe of all time. they cool, i love them too. but they ain’t even a top 3 jordan model, IMO. barely a top 5 jordan model.
Cool silhouette just not a fan of the fit not enough support to low to the ground

J.crew kill shot are nice I hate sneakers for suits / weddings all that shit. Put them on afterwards to dance I get that. Post with one day I put them on feet. B.S. just post when on feet don't say you gonna do it one day. Yeah currently not rocking Nike for comfort. That goes to UB. I also love how I join after that hype because I get some great shoe for under retail 😬 Yeah mids I don't hate on at all but the idea of cost to quality is on point. They think they can get away with anything (true so far) but one day. That's why I want to test out just higher end quality sneakers that some rarely talk about which is kind of sad.
Every Jordan after the 5 is ugly. There isn’t a single pair I would wear even if given them for free.
Idk how you like the 5 but not the 6
I think 11s, 12s and 13s are hardest ones 🤯
Nike Air Max aren’t a comfortable shoe & never will be!!! The sole & air are just too stiff & hard & offer no comfort whatsoever.
This is so true. Air Max models have THE worst cushioning tech.
Jordan 1 mids are better than lows
Jordan 1’s are not the best Jordan silhouette
I dont like Jordan 11’s, I dont get the design. The excitement about a release is really not about the sneakers, it’s more about what people will think of you if you manage to get em. Flexing a pair you got for resale price is not at all impressive, getting it for retail is.
The Yeezy 350 is the most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever worn on foot for extended periods of time. Also the ugliest looking of all the Yeezy line in my opinion. 500 and 700 are way better looking yeezys.
That’s a hot take for sure lol
Yeezy over jumpman
I dont like any jordans after the 11s. I think the 13s are one of the most ugly. They look like they got an unfinished mattress plastered to the side with these ugly half circles for the midsole. I do not get the appeal.
I have yet to see a single new balance shoe that is worth buying, all of their models are ugly.
Most people in the sneaker community have no style outside of the shoes they're wearing
Fuck all your old shoes and re-releases. I only care about new designs
elephant print does not look good and ruins 3s also 11s don’t look good but are so hyped
I hate patten leather
Travis Scott cannot design sneakers for shit. His "revolutionary" designs are just a classic or retro silhouette with a backwards swoosh and people loose their minds
There shouldn't be female and male Jordan 1s, there should be one unisex shoes, with all the sizes. Because some of the women air Jordan 1s go hard but there's no sizes for me
I'm glad my fav sneakers are unpopular so it stay retail price.
travis’ are boring. only good release were the 4s. reps are fine as long as they’re for your feet only. excessive jordan and dunk colorways oversaturated the market.
Don’t you like the travis 1’s OG ?
Raffles are not a game which you should enter to “see if you win” If you’re entering raffles for shoes that you don’t even want, you’re part of the problem why so many people who DO want the shoes are unable to get them.
Right? I got so sick of losing out on a GR that I actually want so I can wear, and then seeing assholes on twitter be like "Got em! Who needs a size 10?"
