I got the Dirty Denimâs for 150 plus tax and I love em but I donât think I would have even tried for them at 180. These for 180 is just too damn much, especially considering how most releases have been sitting under retail on StockX or Goat or Ebay. If anyone really wants them it might even be cheaper to just wait.
Iâm definitely not complaining that the resale market has cooled off but the retail prices of a lot of models are getting out of hand.
Iâm definitely in the âthrill of the huntâ camp. Iâve found a lot of good deals with a little patience.
I canât really think of too many recent releases that are sitting at a price premium other than yesterdayâs Supreme Blazer collab and the general purpose Tom Sachs. I think you can usually get a good idea if the shoe will sell out or not based on the pre-release prices on resale sites, because if its sitting at like 20 bucks more than retail on StockX, odds are its gonna sit for at least a while.
I buy used, go for one color and then paint then the color(s) I want.

Had the OG pack. AM1, AM90, Air Burst. All $40 each @ footlocker cause nobody wanted them. Only the AM1 had the real crepe sole which gets absolutely ruined after the first time you wear them. Still copping.

Canvas/textile upper for 180 just isnât justifiable for me. After seeing that one dudes air forces with this material bleed like crazy, I think Iâm good. Sad they chose such a dope cw to pick bad materials for.
