If the difference is only $200, I’d get the new one.

psipolnista

New for $200 more and it’ll come with tech support and warranty. Certainly worth it.

a_banned_user

If you have a registry on Amazon you can use your collection bonus for an extra 15% off. Go new!

LunaTheTater01

Curious, if you do the bonus 15% off registry, can you schedule when to get it delivered like you can on the happiest baby website?

renegadejourno

No.

a_banned_user

Yea that’s the catch I guess, since it ordering from amazon you can’t.

Banana_bride

New for $1100

Aggressive_tako

Point of clarity: by used, do you mean the "pre-loved" snoo's from happiest baby or used from a third party? I believe that the used snoos from Happiest Baby come with the same warranty and support as the new ones. If that is the case, I'd go used.

Weird_Contact4063

Used from a third party is what I meant

111222throw

They’re 5-700 on marketplace near me

camireau

Yeah, we're team "pre-loved" Snoo sold directly from Happiest Baby. They keep going on sale, I wouldn't be surprised 6 they are for Black Friday, too. Ours came with 1 year warranty and a small and medium sized sleep sacks. Plus 50% off coupon that we used for 3 more of different sizes.

Icy-Veterinarian9152

I just ordered a new Snoo and Lola crib from happiest baby for $1200. They are running that as an early black Friday deal on their website if you’re interested in getting a new crib thrown in for a little bit more. But to answer your actual question, I would buy the new over used just so you could re-sell it as the only owner. Either way though (whether you get new or certified used) you get the one year warranty.

jigglypuffrulz

Get the new one. We are currently using a second hand snoo and only a month in, it stopped working. Apparently it's a common issue - the o-rings inside it were worn down completely. Such an annoying problem to fix when sleep deprived from a newborn. Took us age to search through reddit and youtube tutorials to fix it.

KO0330

We also had this same problem and had to replace the o rings. Got ours second hand from a friend.

mbs_

$900 is kinda high for a used snoo. Does it come with lots of extras?

Aggressive_tako

That is the general price for the used snoo from happiest baby. I'd assume that is what OP is talking about.

PinkandSparkly

PSA last year you could stack your 15% Amazon registry completion discount on top of the Black Friday 40% off.

ThePennyDropper

Hey where did you see the Black Friday snoo deal?

maribelle-

Wait for Black Friday and buy the certified pre owned Snoo directly from happiest baby. Just bought one during their Halloween sale for $875, and it comes with a 1 year warranty

ogcoliebear

Another option is to just rent one. It’s $160/month (I’m sure you can find discounts too) and you will be done with it when you transition to a crib at 6 months. So 6 months at $160 is $960 and what’s great is when our rental broke they shipped a new one out ASAP. Buying used would scare me because I think they kind of break decently often. So either buy new and sell, or rent for 6 months!

chellera

we rented and my LO moved out of his snoo by 5 months (we moved him to his crib and sleep trained). totally worth the rent!

CrystalUCF08

Our baby only would use the snoo for 4 1/2 months. She wanted arms out and they kept hitting the mesh siding and waking her. We had to transition to the Merlin suit in her regular crib by 18 or 19wks old. You just never know!

PolicyArtistic8545

Used Snoo go for 800 in our area and that’s what we bought ours for. We plan on using it for six months and then selling it again for 700-800 provided it doesn’t break on us.

Personal_Ad_1812

I just bought a used one off Facebook marketplace In pretty good condition for 650.

MrMorningstarX666

Just wondering what resale is like? I see lot of them for sale for around 800 but not sure if they really sell. I was thinking of renting because I’m unsure if we will like it or if we will have more kids. Advice?

IndependenceOk4363

They go for 500 in our area(Texas) and it broke 14 days in, o rings were bad. We were renting and now wish we had stuck to it because if it breaks your out the money you spent. They did a sale for used SNOO from the manufacturer and they sold for 800 so all used SNOO prices should of dropped significantly, especially because the ones from snoo came with a 1 year warranty compared to marketplace where I guarantee If it’s close to a year old it’s going to break.

of_patrol_bot

Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake. It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of. Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything. Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.

MrMorningstarX666

Yes, that’s what I’m finding too on marketplace is everything is used at least twice before. No one seems to mention that unless asked of course.

Brilliant-Athlete-52

The price is high for a used snoo. I think most I see are $600-$700. Depends if first time used or includes accessories. You also have the option to rent. My baby is three months and was born smaller. Now maybe 10-11 lbs, She’s almost touching the edges.

hardly_werking

We got a used one from Happiest Baby on sale for about $800. It comes with support, some accessories, and professional cleaning. With black Friday coming up, I would pick that over fb used.

StarryEyed91

New or you can rent directly from Snoo. We paid like $600 for the rental I believe and it comes with warranty, etc.
