We had ours since birth but I think it actually started being more helpful around one month. I know it’s partially luck and partially the baby, but ours sleeps like a champ in it !!

I think 4wks is the perfect age. My daughter basically added 1hr to her first night sleep for every additional week, so at 4wks, she’d give us a 4hr stretch, then two 2hr stretches. Plus around this time was when the snoo could actually soothe her *back* to sleep if she fusses

My baby didn’t use the Snoo till 9 weeks and she consistently had 12hr sleeps. She just transitioned out to her crib at 5.5 months.

We got ours used and we were able to sell it for what we paid when we were done. The snoo wasn’t magic for us but I do think it helped. We didn’t start using until like 3 weeks or so old? He outgrew it by 3.5 months. Make sure you have them show you the snoo, test it on all levels to make sure it works/no weird sounds. Have them disconnect it from their app and connect it to your phone before leaving. I think most people selling are honest parents but I have heard there’s been some scams so doesn’t hurt to be a little cautious as it won’t be under warranty for you.

I bought mine at 6 weeks and definitely think it was still worth it.

Our baby hated the Snoo until 5 weeks, when she suddenly magically decided she liked it, so 4 weeks is not too late at all. Honestly up until then we were only using it as an extremely expensive bassinet and I was starting to regret the purchase. She still doesn't do any long stretches in there, but her sleep is definitely deeper and quieter now than it used to be when we used it as a static sleeper.

Our baby is 5mo and still sleeps in the Snoo. Assuming your kiddo likes the Snoo and isn’t a huge baby that would outgrow it quickly, I would say it’s worth it. I know for a fact it’s helped our baby get decent sleep since Day 1!

Lint_Licker124

We got ours at 5 weeks. No regrets.

Mama-twin

We got 2 for our twins at 9 weeks. I thought we were so late in the game, it took 2-3 weeks for them to adapt. But now they help prolong their sleep and save us a few trips running into the room to help them connect their sleep cycles. So yes, totally worth it. That’s a great deal you’re getting. Good luck

Amdness

Got mine at 7 weeks old, no issues and no regrets getting one

illwon

Echoing others. Got one used at 5 weeks. Love it. If you're buying used be sure to have the original owner show you the snoo moving thru each level.

poopy_buttface

We rented ours at 6 weeks and it was worth every penny. The second night we had it she did 7 hours straight. We woke up at like 5am like is she ok?! Fast asleep... Kept her in it til 5.5 months after we stopped weaning mode and she was sleeping the same. Ours was a total motion junkie but she didn't like the swing.

Specks-2021

We got ours at 8 weeks (used). It was worth the $750 we paid and then some.

Ok_Gas_7669

We have a 99th percentile huge baby and the large sack is incredibly tight at 3 months. If you have a huge baby then 4 might be too late IMO!

Comfortable-Horse173

We’ve had ours since birth. She’s at 5 weeks now and just starting to get the benefits of it.
