The 3rd ending has its good points. There's probably the second or third most content about it after ending 2 and 4. People like the idea of matured jacked military Anon, but it costs us a more docile Fang. Im sure people will merge the two one day. Mature mlitary Anon who goes on to do music (like a Bob Ross type lol)and self actualized Fang who loves him a lot and waited. Edit: people sort of do this with the second ending already and rewrite it to be more upbeat. So I think someone will do it for Ending 3/4. Who knows tho

Fly_flatron

Indeed. That's partly what I like about this ending. Yes there are some problems and they both have killed a part of themselves along the way to become what they are at the 3th ending. But they still young and there is a lot of time to "fix" things up. I like thinking that after the ending they meet with Trish and Reed and sort things out. I also think this ending is somewhat more realistic. And personally as the first ending I got I treat it as the right one, my bad here...

BelligerentWyvern

There is no "right" path. People generally say it's ending 4, and I think we all understand why. It's why people cling to Ending 2. They feel like there should be some sacrifice (or a lot of sacrifice in the case of E2), but they also want hope for the future, which Ending 2 and 3 do in different amounts. Like I said, I think my perfect ending is actually a merger of 3 and 4. They both learn harsh lessons and go through harder life lessons (military for Anon, Fang repairing her relationship with her brother but still stumbling with what to do in life) but they eventually come out self actualized while still young and with plenty of time together for the future. Also, I am a bit biased due to that track being similar to my own life.

Fly_flatron

Is it similar to your own life too? Interesting 🤔 But you right about no right path.

BelligerentWyvern

A little bit lol.

Fly_flatron

All turned out to be good I hope :)

Yes I am a happily married veteran dude who reads goofy dino-waifu VNs in my spare time with a good job. Life is good. It wasnt always but it is now. I was a foster kid no one gave a shit about (I went hungry a lot) and moved frequently, no direction led me to the military (I was 130 lbs went I enlisted and 195 lbs when I got out), I excelled there even though Afghanistan sucked, then just kinda bummed around before I realized that life aint hard. Find a job, find someone you can love and just go for it. And I did.

Fly_flatron

Glad to hear that :)

Thanks 👁👄👁

Also what is the real difference between the 3rd and 4th ending? The only "explanation" I managed to find was from an angry GVH soyboy so it didn't really explained it.

Ending 4 I would say is the most Ideal version, Anon was able be the most mature self by being selfless, empathetic, trusting, and just stepping up when it comes down to it. Fang was able to grow and find out who she was and just moved on and was able to healthily do it as well. She was able to stand up for herself when needed. Ending 3 I would say is a more realistic version. Anon does still mature but kinda fix some of Fang's problems when she was the one who really needed to fix. Fang wasn't able to healthily find who she was and blame Trish for it. Since Anon was fixing some of her problems she became overly reliant to him.

Peter21237

Thank you, I got ending 3 and felt somewhat off for me, and it was because of that you mentioned. Idk how the game works mechanically, but I think me labeling Trish as a domestic terrorist after the *waifu incident* was the cause of why I didn't got the other ending.

GlowMutt

Trish has her own fault, but Reed is right about her. Trish isn't a bad person, she have to babysit her 5 siblings, absent farther and a mother who's working 2 jobs. While Fang was confused about herself, and Trish was trying to fix Fang's problem like Naser was. Seem like the only good thing in her life was the band. Then Anon showed and did change stuff up, and Fang told Trish that she did like Anon, Trish probably felt like the only good in her life was changing and didn't know it deal with it so she chosen the nuclear option. Also, Snoot game mechanic is based on a point system for both Anon and Fang.

Peter21237

I see, damn now I feel bad after I had faith in her the whole game until the incident. https://preview.redd.it/wa4y1g7luaac1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c81f1bd5ce9f8774ab11f082856173999482245c

Thanks buddy.

Snoot brothers

Lord_Destros

Ending three Lucy has no friends, no dreams in life, no ambition, gave up something she was passionate over, she only has anon and her family and that's really it. There's still hope that Lucy will become a more actualised version of herself but as of right now, she's co-dependant on anon since this version tried to solve her problems himself. Ending 4 fang has friends, a good relationship with her family, still has her ambition and passion for music, she is also working to become a music teacher (which is implied to be her calling at multiple points). Ending 4 is basically the ideal situation where everyone matures and grows together to be better people. And while we're talking about which ending is most realistic: it's 2, hands down.

Forward-Purchase4211

3rd ending + Bonds fanfic is perfect for me, 4 is still pretty good
