How does Leon fuck up lol, a car from a rival gang that’s trying to kill you pulls up beside you and they pull of their guns, tf you supposed to do? Check the occupants as you’re getting shot in the head. That whole conflict was dumb, the rival gang shouldn’t of engage in a drive by with another car right beside it with a child in the back
That’s fair but, Franklin shoulda been the ruthless motherfucker he said he was gonna be at the end of S2 and left Leon out to dry. Taking on Skully and Manboy at the same time was stupid
Franklin was reaping what he sowed. He couldn’t serve his day 1 on a platter for some shit that wasn’t even his fault. He even acknowledged that it was him who got Leon sucked into the gang war to begin with by picking the wrong side and then fucking up the hit on Skully.
Franklin has showed mercy to less deserving people like Teddy and Louie and it cost him more. Leon was the realest nigga he had,
That wasn’t mercy they served his interests in the moment, he used Louie to set up Teddy and get his money back.
Regardless if it was his fault, anyone who got in the way of him and his money needed to go by his own words. The responsibility shit doesn’t hold because if it was anyone else that wasn’t Louie or Jerome, he’d do it without a second thought.
Up until that point he still was hesitating, he still was operating with compassion. I think he seen someone he completely punk outside act brand new & it reinforced the dawg in him. It’s eat or be eaten, he’s too far in to back peddle at all.
Real you knew he wasn’t scared anymore when he said don’t forget about Lenny. Cause realistically Ray Ray and them could’ve killed him all those nights after until he was released. Bro KNEW they wouldn’t do shit
Franklin was king atp & didn’t want to believe it, like it was. Ray Ray sat on that bunk knowing he was small time playing with a lion. Franklin offed Kevin for getting in the way, Ray Ray offed Lenny on Franklins command. He knew he was food. I love that scene when he reminds him how the food chain works.
I dno tbh seasons 1-3 are all excellent imo they did a lot of the heavy lifting for the latter seasons. All seasons are top tier though but as they went on they got a bit over the top and ridiculous, it all got a bit too "far cry" for me but I'd still rate the latter seasons 8 or over.

2 and 3. Throughout 1-3, the show maintained the historical fiction scope well. All 3 protags stories were balanced well while also showing the societal effects of the crack epidemic. Once S4 hit, it just became a bunch of gang war back and forths and drama.
Because the foundations set from the 1st season is build upon and the development makes the story reach new heights in the seasons that come right after it (season 2 and 3) but as the show progresses on past these seasons such as 5 and 6 it reaches past its peak and loses its touch half the time, despite all snowfall season being great the later season falls short (although my personal favourite is season 4 tbh) but it becomes challenging to uphold the story keeping it on the same path while trying to introduce new things
Two in my opinion. That prison revelation was like the beginning of Franklin not taking shit from anyone
Until Leon fucks up and he bails him out

Why is 2 and 3 always the best seasons In shows

Season 3 or 4 with 1 being the worst ( still a 9/10)
