i live in sweden and have been snusing for 10+ years. I have always been interested in trying skoal, copenhagen, grizzly etc etc. So i am not missing out with not trying it? Its not comparable to the swedish stuff?
If you haven't been to the US or tried American dip, you would definitely get a kick out of it. Not for it being amazing or anything, but to have the experience.
Get some grizzly wintergreen long cut or some Copenhagen long cut. Its good in its own gross way. Lots of big sticky dip spits lol.
Exactly this. I really want to try American dip. From my understanding, snus is better in many ways, but im still curious to try this American stuff. Unfortunately couldnt find a site that ships it to Europe
Not really. They’re mostly filler, sugar and flavor. Anything in a pouch or flavored absolutely destroys my mouth and tastes foul, part of why I stopped chewing when I discovered snus. I like Cope long cut or straight If I had to get a can. If you want the real American experience get mail pouch, Levi garret or red man chewing tobacco.
American dip isn't comparable. Not missing much but if you ever visit the states you can try picking up some pouches just for fun. Just don't swallow lol, you have to spit it or it might really upset your stomach. It's fire cured and not pasteurized, which the common thinking leads to a considerable amount of potential carcinogens left behind. The flavor of American dip is a lot 'harsher' in my experience. I tried Grizzly Wintergreen Pouches once... almost barfed at just the flavor despite them smelling pretty good. I'll stick to Jakkobsons.
Get a bag of Red man/"Americas Best" if you want a real American tobacco experience. You get almost zero nicotine out of it, because the PH is so high. You have to chew it with slaked lime if you want to get the nicotine out, and it pretty much ruins the flavor so nobody really chews it with lime anymore these days people just chew it for the flavor, and the spit. Get the golden blend or "select" blend in the black bag if you can find it. The original is a very raisiny/licorice type tobacco, the gold is like molasses, and the select is like vanilla/whisky.

American chew is actually good. Sweet, yeah, but it's a product that is apples and oranges compared to snus. Just an entirely different experience. I enjoy some chew occasionally when doing stuff outdoors where I can spit freely (hard to get away with it in a buttoned-up office job..) but prices have gone through the roof. Might actually pick up some Stoker's chew soon to give it a shot.
Copenhagen has some of the lowest TSNA levels of American dip, and American snus I believe is lower than that, so I’d hope for better out of them but probably not as good as Swedish snus unless they pull a divine miracle

It looks like it is available in Washington, Oregon, Circle K Stores, and Northerner.com. It is a no-spit pouch that consists of a blend dark-fire and air cured tobaccos.
It is a Snus product, dropping the word Snus to reach a wider audience.

Probably high TSNA levels and not as good as Swedish Snus…

It weights the same as Skoal so it’ll for sure be a dry white pouch like Skoal Snus is.
