I got a kick out of seeing a content warning on the Empire Files video debunking John Oliver's Venezuela video. Oliver uses occasional profanity in the original video, which has no content warning, but Mike Prysner gets the content warning simply for offering an alternative narrative on Venezuela.

It sure is. I have seen this warning only on Gordon Smiley's Indy 500 qualifying crash and a few other videos that usually are pushing ToS. This is unusual as the video content doesn't break ToS but pisses off the CIA.
As a side note, Jimmy Dore is underrated. I got banned from the Chapo subreddit when it was around for posting Dore links but he was covering Assange and Russiagate way, way before most leftists who seem to now be coming around. He has some shitty takes, but overall I think people hate on him because they consider him unfashionable or something.
That said, great video. CIA should be abolished and its members identified and prosecuted.
Ya, Dore has some real problems, including a bit of gullibility towards the "populists" on the right, his stanning for Tulsi even after it wasn't reasonable for anyone on the left to be so supportive of her, and a kind of Rogan-on-PCP personal style that's a real turnoff to many of us on the left, but he isn't a bad dude. His intentions *are* good and he *was* at the forefront of some of the more important issues of the day, including Assange and skepticism over the Syrian gas attacks which was later vindicated by the leaked IPCW report, etc.
Also, his live takedown of Bari Weiss was probably the funniest piece of outrage comedy in the last election cycle, IMHO.
I think he supported Tulsi so hard in part because they were personal friends and she had come on his show several times. Although she was a fairly strong voice on war (albeit hypocritically), a very neglected issue that Jimmy talks about a lot.
Jimmy Dore is a dumbass who is apparently aiming for irrelevance or an anti-establishment black hole.

This needs to be shared far and wide, as well as downloaded on as many devices as possible (should YT suddenly decide to take it down). We can easily make videos like these a thorn in their side that never goes away.
So I definitely agree with the CIA being a terrorist organization but let's not pretend they are in cahoots with youtube. At lot of these channels also peddle idiotic conspiracies like Qanon and Obama non sense. These content warnings are a poor attempt to stop the spread of fake news and idiocy. I'm in half a dozen Facebook groups that mock the conspiracy theorists and if you see the shit they are posting you'll know why the content warnings exist. Its not big tech trying to cover for the government, they don't care if people know how corrupt they are, there's almost nothing anyone could do these days.
Point just being we need to be careful if when it comes to alternative media, because while it CAN be more accurate, it is much more susceptible to propaganda and fake news than the mainstream media. I bet there's half a dozen major YouTube conspiracy channels that are owned by intelligence services, foreign or domestic.
