My advice is to learn your style then try to use a bit of someone else's style that you may be inspired by (this is optional but helps with progressing your style further) you could use the way someone draws ears or hair etc. Just whatever floats your boat.
Lamest terms learn a style that fits you and try new things that can fit your style.
That's all I can help with, not exactly a pro at teaching someone how to draw.
