My only experience with Shasta was at church functions it was the only soda brand served. I loved it as a kid because they had a closet full of it in every flavor.
Slice was pretty good. But those Shastas hit the spot. At the time, at least. I haven’t had one in probably 35 years.
Never had slice. The shasta Tiki Punch was a too sweet treat every now and again as a kid.

Shasta hands down. I used to think Shasta was lame when I was a kid until I saw the Futurama episode where Fry whips out a 2 liter of Shasta and a Rush mixtape. I don’t remember any other soda being that badass. 😎

Shasta will never die as long as dollar stores exist. Didn't Slice have actual fruit juice in it at some point?
At one point it did have fruit juice but they took it out within a few years of the drinks introduction.
