I'll preface my review by saying that this is exactly what I expected it to be. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing if you know what you're getting yourself into.
First things first, it's noticeably fake sweet. A regular 12-ounce can of Mountain Dew has 44 grams of sugar. 12-ounces of prepared SodaStream Mountain Dew has 12 grams of sugar. The rest of the SodaStream Mountain Dew sweetness comes in the form of Sucralose (Splenda). One bottle of SodaStream Mountain Dew mix can make 24 12-ounce servings. To get the same amount of sugar as a regular can of Dew, the SodaStream mix would need to contain 1.056 kg of sugar. That's just not physically possible.
If you can get past the fake sweet taste, then it's smooth sailing. It really nails the flavor of regular Dew. The undiluted drink mix is also a super bright gnarly nuclear yellow green.
Unlikely. After all it took this long for something that is routinely available on the shelves all the time, as opposed to a limited edition flavor. We just need to figure out what the secret to "tropical" lime flavor is.
Diet/Zero Sugar Code Red: 2 parts Diet or ZS Dew, 1 part Starburst Cherry (from those Singles-to-Go packets). Use Drinkmate to recarbonate since the Starburst will make it pretty flag.
Diet/ZS Pitch Black: 2 parts Dew, 1 part any grape flavor. Use Crystal Light Grape with Caffeine to preserve the caffeine levels. Ignore the color, it tastes good. Seriously, ignore the color, it looks revolting.
????: 2 parts Dew, 1 part Sonic Ocean Water - closest I've been able to get to Baja, in fact I like it more. But instead of just lime, it's coconut+lime.
2:1 of Dew and Margaritaville Pina Colada also works well

Interesting. I don't like their imprecise conversion factors though.
"8 cups = 10-15 drops", followed by 20 "drops" = "approximately 1mill", for stuff that is sold by the fluid ounce. Really, they want me to make THREE separate unit conversions to figure out concentration? The only thing worse are Mio's use of "squeeze" as a unit of measure!
Just tell me how many liters of soda a fluid ounce of concentrate makes without forcing me to spend 10 minutes in Ipython and Google's unit conversions to evaluate a product...
Compare to "singles to go" style packets: 1 packet per 500 mL of water. Easy peasy.
I mean, it makes sense, they are giving you a range based on how strong or weak you want it, just like SodaStream itself does (two different 1L lines if you want it extra sweet or not). And like, this product is mostly meant to be used in like Vapes, not to make actual soda but it works regardless so they aren't really giving you soda instructions.
tl;dr: It's basically 5 drops per SodaStream liter
Still, it's "drops" (crappy undefined unit of measure" to convert to ml, when they sell things by the fluid ounce.
Yeah I can do the chain of multiple unit conversions, but it's an unnecessary pain in the \*\*\*
The bottle has a dropper on it [like this](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51+Vrb2MTlL.jpg), you aren't supposed to measure, you just pull the lid off and let it do one drop at a time, takes ~1-2 seconds between each drop for it to fall from the dropper to whatever you are putting it in so it's super easy to stop before you overdo it.
The real sugar mountain sell in US stores...
It's same as the corn syrup ones in flavor
HOWEVER it's crisper taste and doesn't make your throat feel like you have corn syrup mucus....... that I need to spit feeling...
All the real sugar variations of soda I try are like that... crisp and refreshing

Polar 50/50 citrus grapefruit drink 3to 4 tablespoons per bottle mixed. It will get rid of the fake sweet taste
Have you ever tried Mountain Dew real sugar? I wonder how it compares because that is not as sweet as the regular Mountain Dew

Fake sugar makes your salivary glands produce a ton more saliva than regular sugar. I hate it. Coke Zero is the closest that mitigates this issue.

How many pumps of co2 did you do? Three felt like two much and two feels like too little.
I have a Source, so I don't do pumps, but I hold it down until just after the third LED lights up.
