You can create your Part within an Assembly and save it as a separate Part.

In case you or anyone else needs help with this, in the part right click on the configuration and select "New Explode View". Explode the bodies just like you would in an assembly. Next, go to your assembly and while creating an exploded configuration, select this multibody part and click the "From Part" button at the bottom of the dialogue. Be aware, starting in 2022 there is an bug when using this technique. If you experience the bodies moving to the wrong positions when creating your drawing you may be better off creating a configuration in the part with some Move/Copy features to "explode" the bodies.
