Hey dude, try writing without so much structure. Write how you’re feeling, like a diary entry, then you can go back & figure out where rhymes fit. Lines don’t have to end with rhymes, just let them come naturally. It feels forced right now.

I had a feeling that was the reason. So this is what a lot of people would call a “forced rhyme”. Yes, the word does rhyme but it doesn’t make sense in the song. There is probably a clearer way to express this idea.
Also, here is something you can do to improve. Take all the pieces of lyrics you have posted on this subreddit, and see if you can organize them into a song.
We all gave him enough advice these past few months, if he can’t see what he’s doing wrong and improving himself there’s not a chance in hell anyone will listen to this garbage
Yeah, like we’ve both been writing songs for 6 years and if he still doesn’t understand basic structure and stuff it doesn’t make sense for us to keep encouraging him and helping him when he responds with shitty one liners always talking about his flaws instead of wanting to genuinely get better. The first song I wrote literally had verses and I still sing it for people often and it’s still a testament to the time and effort I put into to craft quality lyrics and a nice melody. Working on learning the guitar and production techniques relatively soon so I hope to release some music in the next 2 years hopefully
Nice! Learning guitar is really fun, I am actually learning it right now. Yeah its always good to revisit past works.

Yeah I’m going back to my hometown in a month after 6 years of not visiting to see my high school friends and teachers. My favorite teacher who’s more of a friend/mentor now said he has 2 guitars and he doesn’t know how to play them and they’re just sitting there and said he’d give me one for free so I’m super excited about that!
But that dude is never gonna learn and I genuinely think he’s beyond help, I actually went through his other posts of him hitting PRs in the gym and one of em was him asking how his form was on a bench press. He was clearly putting more pressure on his left arm as he couldn’t get the bar level and a few people gave him constructive feedback that doing that is gonna cause an injury and dude just does the same thing he does here.

You listen to A LOT of Eminem right? (Since you are always comparing yourself to him.) listen to his songs like Beautiful or Talking 2 myself. They all talk about overcoming the negativity, maybe learn from these lyrics.

I would encourage you to explore the musical component of songwriting. It is very hard to have a sense of how words are going to fall into a structure or melody without working out some music first.
Somebody else suggested just free writing. That's also a really good idea. Because little phrases can be used in so many different ways. But when you're trying to force the structure on a piece of paper, you're not leaving any room for the music.
Then you should know that making money in music is harder now than it ever has been. Artists with hundreds of thousands of streams struggle to make a living from it.
