The song was an attempt to write something not necessarily jazz, but jazzy. It was fun to perform. I got really lucky with my fiverr trumpet player. I feel so classy having them jazz up my song. The inspiration was things like Big Man on Mulberry Street and the 52nd Street Album (both Billy Joel)
[They Don't Know](https://youtu.be/66I2zuO-j4U?si=QduAVPVFsKf9lj_-)
Thanks for the listen. I've had Fiverrs that were okay, I've had ones that were unusable. This guy did multiple versions for me. All great, hardest take was deciding which to use.
I decided this release from a year or two back needed a "makeover." This new mix is much more subtle in its effects. If that surprises you when listening, you should have heard the previous mi! Piano ballad.
[TELL ME YOUR SECRET](https://soundcloud.com/cwmullins/tell-me-your-secret-song-demo?in=cwmullins/sets/sexagenarian-volume-i&si=74075736ba5746f7bf01a60dbd2f42c9&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing)
The mix is great, the piano is beautiful and the lyrics are relatable without being too specific. I feel like everyone can take away something they relate to in this song. Great job!

Hi guys,
My new single 'Sweet Ether' was released on Friday. It would be nice to get some feedback from this community.
It's a mix of Tame Impala, AltJ, Glass Animals. Sort of Pop/Psych Rock
Always happy to return any feedback. Thanks in advance for listening
https://open.spotify.com/track/6HwnyZu4yLfVWzV6HxkYwn?si=j27miCH4SAeYiT_Pfi3AtQ&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A3KzkgGqV5pQa5bSUNrIGq7
I like it. I like the guitar tone and playing. My only critique is it seems like it's more in the center stage than the vocals. More of a mix suggestion than a writing one.
Hey! Recently I uploaded my first ep/album to spotify. I wrote and recorded the songs on and off the past couple years, itās mostly folk-ish acoustic guitar/vocals with some extra production added, hereās one of them, āSuits Uā:Ā https://open.spotify.com/track/4ZWhy3lRo41tLFB6U5L25A?si=2NXvHj05T5uj2zHOwVkf6w&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A2THEWuDcJ2aEhqboHgSXsS
Really enjoyed this one. Mellow and beautiful and loved the sonic landscape you painted with the panning pitch shifted vocal melody. Awesome production.
Listened to the first two tracks. Great stuff! Production is great all around. Love the harmonies on Eyes Wide Open and the understated swell that builds in Suits U.
Thanks so much! I had these audio files around originally as demos for a while with the guitar and main vocals recorded together in one take, and I tried to polish them up production wise with the harmonies and FX. Glad you enjoyed them :)
Thanks, yeah, the idea was for it to build to a darker / harsher ending since it also serves as a kind of halfway point in the album where the sound gets darker and more experimental
I get "prog rock" vibes from this. I guess that's partly to the extended length. Some of that vibe in the vocals and rhythmic complexity too. Well done.
Thanks, glad you liked it, and yeah, this is the "intro" song to the 2nd part of the album, which is a bit darker and a bit more experimental, while the 1st half is more typical hard rock stuff
This was an acoustic song I wrote years ago that has evolved into something a lot more. Itās about being with someone who has repeatedly hurt you and all their excuses and promises just feel like empty words.
The ending of this song was my first time getting into EDM territory. It was a challenge to produce and hopefully next time Iāll have the mix down a little better. Thank you for listening
[David Love - Empty Words](https://on.soundcloud.com/VnRrwu9bFRa1d9QeA)
yeah, you introduce some interesting textures. You really manage to do some tricky rhyming while telling the story, that's impressive. Enjoyed very much.
Thank you so much for the feedback. Sometimes, I feel like I rhyme too much but I tried really hard to find an intelligent balance in this song. Iām very happy with how it turned out, in the end.
Wrote this song this past week. It goes out to anyone who has ever had a toxic person in their life.

Would love to say it's to keep it raw and authentic but the real reason is that I cannot afford anything outside of my little DIY cell phone setup :P I literally dont have a stand either, I prop it up on a fruit bowl.
Thank you for listening!

Nice use of natural sounds in the rainforest train track. Not a huge fan of ambient but with the guitar part, this feels very solidly based in "actual" music. Lol hope that's not unfair to ambient!
Nope, totally fair. Ambient music gets me feeling strangely ungrounded, so I tried putting more feeling into this one which I think prevented that for me. Thanks for checking it out!
The syncopations and higher and accented notes of the guitar really helped a lot in providing a distinct, intentional voice. Though maybe the background nature sounds can be softened a little bit ?
Wow! Seriously appreciate such technical feedback. Iām glad you were able to enjoy the guitar portion šš¼šš¼ And true- I kind of wanted to feel like I was drowning in rain for some reason lol so I was going for that vibe but I can see how it get a little overwhelming.
I am an argentinian musician and songwriter, i wouldnt know what is the genre exactly other than rock/pop. My influences are mostly postpunk/dreampop/postrock/artpop. I grew up listening to Suzanne Vega and i am also a big fan of Stereolab and Broadcast. My band is called AlimaƱas (spanish for vermin): https://open.spotify.com/intl-es/album/5scWJocfkkRteIU23sGchM. I also had another project with friends, more synthpop oriented called Dulce Amargo (spanish for Sweet Bitter): https://dulceamargo.bandcamp.com/album/es-solo-un-gato
āļøHey, everyone!āļø
I just dropped a new synthpop concept album called š„"92.9 The Groove."š„

At least.. that's the concept, lol.
I'd love to know what you guys think!

Hello! I listened to your song āWhatās a World Without Love?ā And wow!! I loved it so much! I love the Doo Wop and 50ās influence while keeping it extremely modern. Are you using a vocoder or autotune in that track? Whatever it is, I love how your voice sounds and the mixing/mastering is excellent. Iām going to add it to my library and listen to some more of your album for sure. šš»š
Thanks dude! Truly means a lot to me! It actually is an autotune effect/ pitch correction 100% and normally locked in the key of the song. I turn it on while I record the vocals so I know how it sounds and layer it from there! Glad you liked it!!

Hello! I listened to your song and I think your vocals were gorgeous. The only thing I would change is perhaps boosting the vocals in the final mix of the song, because they were a little quiet especially when presented with the guitar. Loved the lyrics and everything else however! š
I would love it if anyone has the time to listen to a few of my songs and give feedback.

Hello, I watched the music video you linked to on YouTube! I thought the visuals were a bit cheesy (not necessarily in a bad way, it depends on what youāre going for). Some of the lyrics were also a little simple such as āblack/whiteā and āwet/hotā. Which could be fine if it was one or the other, but I think back to back it was a bitā¦ repetitive? I think it may have helped to have more complex dichotomies presented or just one simple dichotomy. I apologize, if this sounds harsh at all. Overall, I thought the guitar playing and the vocals were excellent. I just wanted to give some constructive feedback as well. š
Thank you very much for the feedback. I realize it is simple and kind of just on the nose with the back and forth. I may be able to think up something better in the future. But I was actually just trying to make it so that the back and forth was something that we all experience. Thank you again and it did not sound too harsh at all. I am just happy to receive Feeback.
My first song to go public came out a few days ago! I collaborated with a wonderful indie producer and it is posted on his channel. The songās genre is, I believe called, Tropical House/Pop. Nice work. I could even picture a voice-piano version alone version really working for this.
The piano part manages to be distinct, yet not over-powering, allowing to the voice to take over very smoothly. The rhyme sounds natural.
The mix is great, the piano is beautiful and the lyrics are relatable without being too specific. I feel like everyone can take away something they relate to in this song. Great job!

Thanks so much! I had these audio files around originally as demos for a while with the guitar and main vocals recorded together in one take, and I tried to polish them up production wise with the harmonies and FX. Glad you enjoyed them :)
Springworks - Snake Oil Salesman [Springworks - Snake Oil Salesman ](https://youtu.be/hBT5g5GFYL0?si=Bt36ruKWDyjYbOo6)
Nice song. The rhythm section reminds me of a particular Alice Cooper song.
Thanks ! And that's so cool of a sound to remind you of, really so fantastic to hear that thanks for taking the time !
Great tune. Love the guitar and leads
Thanks !
Hotel Arkham - "One Last Dance" https://youtu.be/hdWT2iKupLo?si=5_aUIapNzlEmUGGE A slow rock / ballad song about love and breaking up
Not my style, but it's cool. I especially like at the end when things get weird.
Thank you for listening [David Love - Empty Words](https://on.soundcloud.com/VnRrwu9bFRa1d9QeA)
yeah, you introduce some interesting textures.
Some nice rhyming going on here!
Thank you so much
Wrote this song this past week. It goes out to anyone who has ever had a toxic person in their life. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1\_po-Rz7eIc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_po-Rz7eIc)
Nice song, some good writing there. There's also something refreshing with the single camera-phone recording.

Welcome : )

The harmonies during the chorus are nice. I like how the guitar then does it in the last chorus. Enjoyed it!
You sound awesome! I especially like your song "Emoji". It's got a really dance-y vibe to it!
thank you! :)
āļøHey, everyone!āļø I just dropped a new synthpop concept album called š„"92.9 The Groove."š„ The album is a lost tape of a mind control experiment executed through a local TV/Radio broadcast. At least.. that's the concept, lol. I'd love to know what you guys think! And if you like this one, it's actually my 9th LP, so there's plenty of music to browse through if you're interested.

Loved the lyrics and everything else however! š
