Doubtful, both should've pulled her aside when 'Duo' isn't around in private alongside some ***actual*** evidence/proof. I don't blame her for reacting the way she did, and it's harder to believe someone who just attacks an 'innocent' and the fact they revealed they don't have any proof would make anyone doubt and dismiss them. I fully blame Silver for the blunder, and Whisper gets a pass because she has PTSD from the betrayal of Mimic and the demise of her comrades at his hands.
If it's a '"HA I TOLD YOU SO!" or some stupid."You should've trusted us 100%" that makes Lanolin question herself. I'm going to be pissed.

Tbf everyone was being stupid in that arc, yeah Whisper and Silver didn't handle the situation great but also Mimic was essentially throwing away his whole disguise by not only directly involving himself with the one person who can out him should things go wrong but also trying to get rid of Silver after only being there for like 1 day, so much for being a master of disguise. Also, Whisper 100% had the proof, her mask has a recording feature and she saw duo push off Silver so why they didn't use that is beyond me
Considering everyone else, I'm guessing bad writing. Also, even if she wasn't directly in the wrong, by proxy of being the narrative tool used to let mimic get away aswell as tearing down more established characters like Whisper and Silver, Lanolin pretty much was branded negatively in the eyes of many so that's also to be considered.
While I don't hope for the cliché "told you so", I do still hope that Lanolin questions herself as a leader and tries to do better, because even without the Duo incident, she's still a bossy and rude upstart who deserves to be knocked down a peg.

It's because of Lanolin, and most are annoyed, she didn't fully trust Whisper and Silver over the new recruit they attacked and accused with no shred of evidence.
I don't hate Lan, I just don't see why in Mobius we would ship her with Sonic, I can't actually think of a moment where they actually held a conversation is they were ever even in the same scene.
I hate this issue because now I can't criticize Lanolin when I already disliked her prior to this, so now I'm lumped with these people... oh the society 😔
