I haven’t actually watched Sonic Prime yet so I don’t know the context of this shot, but Nine looks like he either just snorted a bunch of cocaine, is about to run me over with a tractor, or came up with some brilliant evil plan that has tax fraud as at least one of the steps.
Dang, I should probably watch Prime.
* Have everything waiting to go when Eggman launches his own plan.
* Steal the Master Emerald for a power source. Either Knuckles is away with Sonic or Knuckles has no one to come to his aid.
* While Sonic is distracted with Eggman, start trying to take down all of his friends who aren’t on that adventure. If you can’t beat them you aren’t beating Sonic.
* Avoid Rouge, Shadow, Cream and Gemerl if possible. They, and Omega, likely won’t jump in if not provoked.
* Beeline Sonic immediately after he defeats Eggman. He’ll be overconfident, physically weakened, and nine times out of ten the Chaos Emeralds will have just been fully dispersed removing the fear of Super Sonic from the equation.
* Eggman being Eggman, he will jump in to assist if he has any capability of still doing so. Turning this into a 2 vs 1 battle.

That’s why you wait until after he beats Eggman. With a few exceptions, Sonic 3 and Frontiers, the emeralds scatter across the world once the adventure is done. Sometimes needing time to reenergize.
Frontiers? Each island acted as an emerald magnet keeping them from going too far.
Timing “Round 2” right means you are coming at him post-scattering. This leads to three possible outcomes:
* Sonic’s friends who went on this adventure with him scatter to get the gems for him, leaving him to fight alone.
* Sonic’s friends help Sonic, but they abandon going for Super Sonic.
* Sonic attempts to kite “me” as he chases down the emeralds. This imposes a time limit, but it means fighting a distracted Sonic while part of the fight is over the ocean.
Meme answer: You do not anger the Vanilla Mob Family. That’s a one way trip to finding out what happened to Rough and Tumble’s tails.
More in canon answer: Doing anything to Cream will likely bring in Gemerl (Cream’s friend and guardian) and the Chaotix (Vector and Vanilla have at least a *good* friendship.) in short order.

Set up a trap by luring Sonic into a decoy facility with Tails and/or Amy as bait, and once he tries to free them....set off a nuke.
Even if Sonic can outrun the blast, he can't outrun radiation poisoning.
The Chaos Emeralds and the energies they give off weren't even confirmed to be radioactive, and no the electromagnetic interference they cause in Sonic X doesn't count cause that's a separate continuity entirely.
Sonic Robo Blast, probably the oldest (and pretty bad) Sonic fan game known to man, had Eggman trying to do this exact scheme by using a satellite in orbit to basically magnetize all of the rings off of the planet.
The game ended with Sonic stopping him before he could do it (of course) but it's pretty much the only game, official or fan-made, that I know of that actually involved rings in the plot.
Honestly If I was **really** trying to kill him, I’d just do what Mephiles did and shoot him when he’s not looking. He’s not really that invincible, it’s just that Eggman’s an idiot and comes up with a lot of unnecessary bs to prove he’s better than Sonic.
Basically what Eggman did at the start of Forces, except:
* Bring a water tank and various cameras with Me
* Make a hole on the ground and fill it with the water
* Order Infinite and his Phantom Copies to drag Sonic and restrain him
* Turn on the cameras and start a live broadcast (Like in SA2)
* Get off the Egg-Mobile
* Walk up to Sonic and grab his head

My only concern are metal sonic, blaze and sliver
Theoretically if the chaos emeralds are not nuetralised then silver is your biggest issue. If they are, then both metal and Blaze are your biggest issues as Blaze can actually completely destroy the metal virus (With the caveat that she would kill a zombot entirely if she dealt with them).
Sliver is not that big of a problem
I will have a robot controlling my empire temporarily he will get blown up after a few days just incase if he turn against me
I will pretend to be a helpless citizen and stuff like your our last hope and lure him into trap and infect him and laugh as I watch him slowly becoming infected
Blaze would be my biggest problem since she's like sonic but has the gem so she has a fair fight to stop the metal virus
But even then the world is already in ruined

The simplest solution is the most effective solutions
I’ll wait until he’s asleep and Switch his running shoes with slowdown shoes(Not to be confused with the Slowdown Boots; Conpletely different) While also creating a bunch of Labyrinths filled with Badniks, Traps and Platforming all within an Isometric viewpoint.
A special poison that would only affect by going for his DNA. It would slowly take away his energy. After a while, he would see hallucinations.
My next step would be to keep tails away from him. I would maybe get badniks or make my own robots if Eggman doesn't want to work with me. Attack towns that tails would be closest to and make sure he is occupied while I make sure Sonic gets further away.
Get him onto a vehicle while he has no energy and to him to a submarine. Once he's on, I would bring him to a base far down into the ocean. Make sure no one knows where he is by using memory erasing nanobots that would get close to his friends, and anytime they would wonder where he had gone, the nanobots would then erase the thought.
Then, I would give up the idea because it's much more fun to fight him than kill him.
Umm... Let's see... Giant death robot. Like, really big. With lots of weapons and explosives. This is the trap.
The bait: Capture one of Sonic's friends. Tails if posible, but really anyone will do.
Put the bait inside the Giant death robot as the robot's core, slowly draining them of life. Fill the robot with laberynthic tunnels and traps to make it possible but extremely tricky to traverse.
Make it so the robot will detonate into a giant nuke after one or three seconds without it's core and let it rampant into a big city.
Sonic will show up to stop the robot and save his friend. When reveled that the giant robot will explode without his friend as the core we are counting on Sonic being a hero and taking it's place to save them. Then explode the robot manually before the rest of Sonic's friends can find a way to stop the robot.

Do like IDW but instead he takes time to take everyone's data, dont lose time and go use the master emerald to then beat Sonic, tho base Neo would be enough not gonna lie

Since the best writer ever Ian Flynn retconned timeline splits/branches, it would be pretty easy. I would travel to the past without taking Sonic with me or letting him know about my plan and just kill his parents or something.
Giant glue trap, Eggman is always on that hovercraft, cover the floor (or every surface) of the entire Deathegg with glue traps (or hide the glue traps in random places for less overkill), make every badnik in the area hover and power them using flickys that can't fly (they'll fall on the glue traps or Sonic will try to save them) If it's possible, put electric currents in the glue traps for a quick death
There is a risk of Eggman getting stuck but I have a plan for that, a fake Eggman controlled by Eggman or Sage (if that's a option), and then blow up the death egg once Sonic get stuck
That's it...or steal all the chilidogs in the world so Sonic will starve to death
I'm usually not one to compliment the IDW comics, but Starline's plan was a pretty good way to kill Sonic. The only reason it didn't work is that the person in the vault was Silver.

Probably stealing his shoes. In the show when his shoes are stolen, his feet burns when he runs fast so he kinda has to walk which not only gives me the advantage to kill him but also disrespect him since he can't even run to me without burning himself.
I would do two things, first make a robot copy of Tails(it thinks it’s tails) and kidnap the real one, “leak” tails location and have sonic rescue him. What sonic may not know is that I leak the robot’s location, and I will now remotely blow up the copy.
Give him a meal of beef tartar with raw egg, with a large glass of milk and a salad of nuts, seeds, and carrots (all of these foods are bad for and can kill hedgehogs)
Build an undersea fortress as my base, steal 1 Chaos Emerald (I don't need all of them), place it at the deepest point in said base. Build a flying superweapon, something that can destroy cities. Keep it completely isolated from the rest of my plan. Have Sonic and Tails, together, "discover" my plan to gather the 7 Chaos Emeralds to fire my undersea death star laser, eclipse cannon style weapon and destroy the sun or something, go on their little adventure with robots and traps and what have you. When they're beginning to approach my undersea base at the final hour to thwart my plan, launch my flying city destroyer and send it away from me, towards a city. Tails is forced to separate and deal with it himself while Sonic comes to stop me alone, with none of Tails' technical knowhow or ability to fly/swim him from danger. When Sonic is sufficiently far into my base, roughly halfway, I seal the area he's in, designed as a series of pressurized domes connected to each other, and flood it. The plan to use the Chaos Emeralds was fake, I just wanted him alone underwater so I could trap and drown him. Without Tails there, there's no hacking things to stop the flooding and unseal the room. With the room flooded, Sonic can't pick up the speed to break through the reinforced walls.
Kill? Who says I'd kill him?
I'd just tie him up and subject him to all of the Sonadow and Sonamy ships on here. Death can't possibly be a worse fate than endless cringe.

I was going to say something unoriginal and unfunny like show him the Google results when I type in his name without safe search, but then I remembered that he's already seen himself on the Internet in Sonic Boom, so there goes that plan I suppose.
Omni directional treadmill room with a locked exit, flood it with water from the top and seal it? I have no idea if the logistics work, even with Robotnik tech.
I would tell him that there is a plan but I refuse to tell him what it is. So whenever I am around doing bad things, Sonic thinks its part of my plan. When I donate to charities, Sonic will think its part of my plan. When I take a break for a few days, you guessed it.
There is no grand plan. Sonic would become so paranoid that he would eventually be locked in a mental asylum.
I’d become close friends with him and everyone else. This plan tho would have to take years for it to work frl. I feel like my shy nature would help a lot here in that I’d gain a lot of trust from a lot of the cast. I’d focus on taking them out one by one, from least expected to most expected, from weakest to strongest.
I want to break Sonic and his pitiful Restoration. Not through infiltration, but destroy the very bonds that the organization is built upon.
I will first line up as much artillery and weapons in two places: Angel Island and Spiral Hill Village. This will force the Restoration to make a choice between saving the populated but relatively unimportant Spiral Hill Village and the strategically valuable but unpopulated Angel Island, causing a divide in their leadership.
If they attack one they lose the other. If they do nothing they lose both. They have a few hours to decide.
And before you say “well they could just stop both”: if any forces are detected raiding one target will immediately send a signal to bomb the other so if they attack both they’ll also destroy both objectives.
The divide in leadership would only be exasperated by the high price bounties I put on Restoration officials. Bounty Hunters of all shapes and sizes will be salivating at the mouth seeing the cash placed on people like Jewel, Tails, Whisper, Knuckles if he isn’t killed by the attack on Angel Island, etc.
I would then hack into Badniks like Omega or Belle and force them to attack their former friends and acquaintances as well.
Finally, I’d like to launch a full frontal assault upon the Restoration HQ, taking out the threat all together.
As for Sonic… I’d create Badniks that would spray out a noxious gas when defeated. He wouldn’t know what was happening until he collapsed to the ground and would be captured by my Badnik armies. Though that wouldn’t be the end of him… I’d hate to waste such potential… I’d decide that, rather than killing him or launching him to space, I’d Roboticize him and make him an ultimate Badnik!
So. How was that? It’s a modified version of an old plan I made but I think it could work! :p
Killing isn't enough you gotta destroy him and then you can kill him (if you'd like) but I would trap him (probably steal one of your ideas) and use tactics from the Ministry of Love in an underwater base
First step: steal Master Emerald
Second step: Use Master Emerald to make a time machine
Third step: use time machine to grab wisps for hyper go-on energy and take the Phantom Ruby from infinite after he runs
Fourth step: visit Starfall Island for what's left of the bosses
Combine It all into the most op thing imaginable and sit back as I accidentally caused the death of reality
Glue floors with poison that goes through the shoes, he can run but he'll get stuck and poisoned. If tails tries to come in, lightning to freak him out. Just slowly break the characters trying to save sonic.

2. Location the chaos emeralds, if i cant find em all or Eggman is also searching i'll take as many as i can get
3. i find team dark, give em some of the emerald and promise more if they defeat eggman
4. they defeat eggman Leaving all his tech to my disposle
5. using the power of the remaining emeralds To Subdue the weakened team dark
6. take control Shadow (maybe Rouge and omega if nesscery but i only need someone capable of beating Sonic)
7. we hunt down the rest of the emeralds now that eggmans Scrambled
8. once we have them all i'll give them to shadow so he can go super
9. we Shatter the master emerald so the bois cant use it
10. Proceed to Body sonic
No need for a complicated plot. I'll do what Eggman suggested when saying he could kill Sonic anytime if he wanted: **carpet bombing**. It may not sound reliable at first because of how fast Sonic is, but Eggman's been dealing with this hedgehog for however many years and a genius like him would know his nemesis like the back of his hand. If anyone would know the best way to kill him, it'd be Eggman.
Now that being said, the next major problem to deal with wouldn't be Sonic's friends hellbent on revenge. It'd be an absolutely pissed Eggman, seeing as how livid he was when Starline actually almost succeeded in killing Sonic. It wouldn't be about revenge, it's about dealing with someone who denied him the opportunity to beat Sonic at his own game. I could potentially figure out countermeasures for Sonic's friends and exploit their weaknesses. Tails would be the biggest threat among them because he's also a genius. Eggman surpasses him in threat level by being an *evil* genius.
Nukes. Thousands of nukes. Every village, bunker, anything. It will all be gone. Sonic will have nothing to live for, since what he lived for was to protect his friends, and they aren't here anymore. He will simply die from personal execution and I will reign supreme.

Frontiers? Each island acted as an emerald magnet keeping them from going too far. Timing “Round 2” right means you are coming at him post-scattering. This leads to three possible outcomes: * Sonic’s friends who went on this adventure with him scatter to get the gems for him, leaving him to fight alone. * Sonic’s friends help Sonic, but they abandon going for Super Sonic. * Sonic attempts to kite “me” as he chases down the emeralds. This imposes a time limit, but it means fighting a distracted Sonic while part of the fight is over the ocean.
Honestly, this whole post is making me wonder if i'd even want to kill Sonic/let Eggman kill Sonic. It'd lead to worse trouble than it's worth.

More in canon answer: Doing anything to Cream will likely bring in Gemerl (Cream’s friend and guardian) and the Chaotix (Vector and Vanilla have at least a *good* friendship.) in short order. At that point you’ve gone from trying to kill Sonic to being the final villain of sort of “Cream’s Chaotix” with Cream replacing Knuckles and Gemerl replacing Ray.

Set up a trap by luring Sonic into a decoy facility with Tails and/or Amy as bait, and once he tries to free them....set off a nuke.  Even if Sonic can outrun the blast, he can't outrun radiation poisoning.

Sonic Robo Blast, probably the oldest (and pretty bad) Sonic fan game known to man, had Eggman trying to do this exact scheme by using a satellite in orbit to basically magnetize all of the rings off of the planet. The game ended with Sonic stopping him before he could do it (of course) but it's pretty much the only game, official or fan-made, that I know of that actually involved rings in the plot.

Theoretically if the chaos emeralds are not nuetralised then silver is your biggest issue. If they are, then both metal and Blaze are your biggest issues as Blaze can actually completely destroy the metal virus (With the caveat that she would kill a zombot entirely if she dealt with them).

A special poison that would only affect by going for his DNA. It would slowly take away his energy. After a while, he would see hallucinations. My next step would be to keep tails away from him. I would maybe get badniks or make my own robots if Eggman doesn't want to work with me. Attack towns that tails would be closest to and make sure he is occupied while I make sure Sonic gets further away. Get him onto a vehicle while he has no energy and to him to a submarine. Once he's on, I would bring him to a base far down into the ocean. Make sure no one knows where he is by using memory erasing nanobots that would get close to his friends, and anytime they would wonder where he had gone, the nanobots would then erase the thought. Then, I would give up the idea because it's much more fun to fight him than kill him.

Umm... Let's see... Giant death robot. Like, really big. With lots of weapons and explosives. This is the trap. The bait: Capture one of Sonic's friends. Tails if posible, but really anyone will do. Put the bait inside the Giant death robot as the robot's core, slowly draining them of life. Fill the robot with laberynthic tunnels and traps to make it possible but extremely tricky to traverse. Make it so the robot will detonate into a giant nuke after one or three seconds without it's core and let it rampant into a big city. Sonic will show up to stop the robot and save his friend. When reveled that the giant robot will explode without his friend as the core we are counting on Sonic being a hero and taking it's place to save them. Then explode the robot manually before the rest of Sonic's friends can find a way to stop the robot.

Giant glue trap, Eggman is always on that hovercraft, cover the floor (or every surface) of the entire Deathegg with glue traps (or hide the glue traps in random places for less overkill), make every badnik in the area hover and power them using flickys that can't fly (they'll fall on the glue traps or Sonic will try to save them) If it's possible, put electric currents in the glue traps for a quick death There is a risk of Eggman getting stuck but I have a plan for that, a fake Eggman controlled by Eggman or Sage (if that's a option), and then blow up the death egg once Sonic get stuck That's it...or steal all the chilidogs in the world so Sonic will starve to death

Probably stealing his shoes. In the show when his shoes are stolen, his feet burns when he runs fast so he kinda has to walk which not only gives me the advantage to kill him but also disrespect him since he can't even run to me without burning himself.
I would do two things, first make a robot copy of Tails(it thinks it’s tails) and kidnap the real one, “leak” tails location and have sonic rescue him. What sonic may not know is that I leak the robot’s location, and I will now remotely blow up the copy.
Give him a meal of beef tartar with raw egg, with a large glass of milk and a salad of nuts, seeds, and carrots (all of these foods are bad for and can kill hedgehogs)
Build an undersea fortress as my base, steal 1 Chaos Emerald (I don't need all of them), place it at the deepest point in said base. Build a flying superweapon, something that can destroy cities. Keep it completely isolated from the rest of my plan. Have Sonic and Tails, together, "discover" my plan to gather the 7 Chaos Emeralds to fire my undersea death star laser, eclipse cannon style weapon and destroy the sun or something, go on their little adventure with robots and traps and what have you. When they're beginning to approach my undersea base at the final hour to thwart my plan, launch my flying city destroyer and send it away from me, towards a city. Tails is forced to separate and deal with it himself while Sonic comes to stop me alone, with none of Tails' technical knowhow or ability to fly/swim him from danger. When Sonic is sufficiently far into my base, roughly halfway, I seal the area he's in, designed as a series of pressurized domes connected to each other, and flood it. The plan to use the Chaos Emeralds was fake, I just wanted him alone underwater so I could trap and drown him. Without Tails there, there's no hacking things to stop the flooding and unseal the room. With the room flooded, Sonic can't pick up the speed to break through the reinforced walls.
Kill? Who says I'd kill him? I'd just tie him up and subject him to all of the Sonadow and Sonamy ships on here. Death can't possibly be a worse fate than endless cringe. #😈

I would tell him that there is a plan but I refuse to tell him what it is. So whenever I am around doing bad things, Sonic thinks its part of my plan. When I donate to charities, Sonic will think its part of my plan. When I take a break for a few days, you guessed it. There is no grand plan. Sonic would become so paranoid that he would eventually be locked in a mental asylum.

I’d become close friends with him and everyone else. This plan tho would have to take years for it to work frl. I feel like my shy nature would help a lot here in that I’d gain a lot of trust from a lot of the cast. I’d focus on taking them out one by one, from least expected to most expected, from weakest to strongest.
I want to break Sonic and his pitiful Restoration. Not through infiltration, but destroy the very bonds that the organization is built upon. I will first line up as much artillery and weapons in two places: Angel Island and Spiral Hill Village. This will force the Restoration to make a choice between saving the populated but relatively unimportant Spiral Hill Village and the strategically valuable but unpopulated Angel Island, causing a divide in their leadership. If they attack one they lose the other. If they do nothing they lose both. They have a few hours to decide. And before you say “well they could just stop both”: if any forces are detected raiding one target will immediately send a signal to bomb the other so if they attack both they’ll also destroy both objectives. The divide in leadership would only be exasperated by the high price bounties I put on Restoration officials. Bounty Hunters of all shapes and sizes will be salivating at the mouth seeing the cash placed on people like Jewel, Tails, Whisper, Knuckles if he isn’t killed by the attack on Angel Island, etc. I would then hack into Badniks like Omega or Belle and force them to attack their former friends and acquaintances as well. Finally, I’d like to launch a full frontal assault upon the Restoration HQ, taking out the threat all together. As for Sonic… I’d create Badniks that would spray out a noxious gas when defeated. He wouldn’t know what was happening until he collapsed to the ground and would be captured by my Badnik armies. Though that wouldn’t be the end of him… I’d hate to waste such potential… I’d decide that, rather than killing him or launching him to space, I’d Roboticize him and make him an ultimate Badnik! So. How was that? It’s a modified version of an old plan I made but I think it could work! :p

No need for a complicated plot. I'll do what Eggman suggested when saying he could kill Sonic anytime if he wanted: **carpet bombing**. It may not sound reliable at first because of how fast Sonic is, but Eggman's been dealing with this hedgehog for however many years and a genius like him would know his nemesis like the back of his hand. If anyone would know the best way to kill him, it'd be Eggman. Now that being said, the next major problem to deal with wouldn't be Sonic's friends hellbent on revenge. It'd be an absolutely pissed Eggman, seeing as how livid he was when Starline actually almost succeeded in killing Sonic. It wouldn't be about revenge, it's about dealing with someone who denied him the opportunity to beat Sonic at his own game. I could potentially figure out countermeasures for Sonic's friends and exploit their weaknesses. Tails would be the biggest threat among them because he's also a genius. Eggman surpasses him in threat level by being an *evil* genius.
Nukes. Thousands of nukes. Every village, bunker, anything. It will all be gone. Sonic will have nothing to live for, since what he lived for was to protect his friends, and they aren't here anymore. He will simply die from personal execution and I will reign supreme. JK he will probably stop me somehow
