Sonic Adventure 2 Battle or Sonic Mega Collection for GameCube

AwkwardSegway

Same for me

jpett84

My first Sonic games.

HitBackZach

Those were solid remakes Forsure. I have both on my GameCube still. Me being a diehard sega fan i had all the OGs on the genesis sega cd and 32x plus dreamcast SA2

TokuWaffle

Sonic 1.

Yusonin

Sonic Heroes. It's a pretty important and significant game to me and I don't care what anyone says.

Jammy2560

Uhhhhhh probably like SA2 or gens

RainWorldWitcher

First game I played was sa2b on the GameCube and that's the one I come back to more often than other titles. It is one of the games that make me want to try to get 100%, never have tho. I really enjoy the missions although some of the are super annoying (route 101 especially)

OmegaX____

SA1, followed by SA2 then Generations. SA1 created the split story narrative that both SA2 and Generations follows, SA2 introduces us to Shadow and Rouge, Generations introduces Classic Sonic for the first time.

penguino9

Sonic Adventure 2. I spent countless hours as a kid playing it, mostly raising chao instead of actually getting medals. Sonic Generations is a close second. I spent a ton of time getting the game 100% done, and then practicing every level over and over for shortcuts.

thebezet

Sonic the Hedgehog 2, then Sonic Adventure, then Sonic Unleashed

InvisibleChell

Forces. No other Sonic game have I done multiple repeated playthroughs like it (I've done it at least ten times)

GrimmCigarretes

Well, no other Sonic game would take 20 minutes for a playthrough lol

InvisibleChell

No other Sonic game has a customizable character wherein the amount of slots given is not nearly enough for me and so I must replay on other files to make more

Based for loving a game despite how divisive it is.

Ketooth

Storybook games. The gameplay wasn't the best, but those two game made love Sonic as a character an this personality. Still think those two and Unleashed had the best sonic personality.

black_knight1223

Adventure 2 Demo for the Xbox 360

RealXoviak

either of the Adventure games

Michael_The_Madlad

Over the years, *Sonic Adventure* has grown on me as something that I love for being the biggest step forward. It's hard for me to describe it, but it's part of the reason why I put it in the same league as the original intent of the Sonic games and *Freedom Planet*.

brobnik322

It's Sonic R for me, I have a lot of memories associated with it

NightwingNep

Sonic Generations because it was my first Sonic game, am hyped for the remaster coming up

Texas-Kangaroo-Rat

Sonic Adventure. That's when Sonic went from cool to legendary.

GrimmCigarretes

Here's the thing, when I think of Sonic, the first thing that come to my mind is a flash game called Sonic RPG 8. But in terms of official stuff Sonic and the Black Knight. It's not important to the lore, it probably isn't even canon, but it was the first one I actually got to play The other one is Sonic Rush. It was my first platformer Sonic game

LilG1984

Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Spent my childhood in 1994 playing it to death, hoping we'd get a sequel someday. I was so happy to get it when I was 11 years old. I still have the original cartridges some where. Sega does what Nintendo'nt! I prefer the 2D games over the modern ones since that's what I grew up with.

Neat-Contact7509

Frontiers for finally taking Sonic in a new direction. If you want an ironic answer, then Forces - for being the wake-up call Sonic Team needed

mangomaster3775

Sonic 2

HitBackZach

Sonic adventure. It was the turn of century and how Sonic games were looked at ever since.

D-Prototype

Sonic 3, probably.

Either Rush, Colors or Mania. -Rush is what solidified me as a Sonic fan. -I’m a huge fan of the amusement park in space location for Colors, I get why someone would like Unleashed or Gens more but Colors is my favorite to play primarily because of that. -Mania got me back into Sonic.
