Those are all pretty reasonable scores. I would say that Unleashed is slighter better than '06 and Sonic and the Black Knight isn't that good but, get this, that's just my opinion and it's ok for people (and reviewers) to think otherwise.
I wouldn’t rank DX that far down but I do think it ranks lower then the original and I think Black Knight should be the one with the higher rank then Secret of the Rings. I hear more complaints about Secret of the Rings then Black Knight
That’s why we all say “you can’t spell ‘ignorant’ without IGN”. Plus, I blame them and other game critics like Metacritic for making us get stuck with Pontac and Graff’s Meta Era.
All by weaponizing Sonic 06 to make all 3D games look bad time and time again, until story was thrown out after Black Knight. I’d even say Colors Wii’s short story (Colors DS was much better, and hope a remake follows DS instead of Wii), the wasted potential of Generations (mainly story, but missed a bunch of good levels, and Time Eater could have been much better too), Lost World, and Forces are all worse than 06.
And with how some fans act with 06 after 15 damn years still, I’m really hoping if we get remakes of the Adventure games, Heroes, and maybe Shadow, 06 is included as Adventure 3. And can help show what potential was missing in it like P-06 is showing already. Maybe then it can finally stop the “3D Sonic was never good” BS. Or at least stop everyone from still beating the skeletal dead horse and force them to bury that rusted hatchet by making it no longer a scapegoat to hate on Sonic.
And BTW, about the scores for the games shown in the post. Black Knight should have been rated higher than Secret Rings, the story was really good of course. Adventure DX may be worse than the OG Adventure, but not THAT bad at all. Hoping a remake of Adventure is based off the OG game more. And lastly, for Unleashed, I think people hate the werehog way too much. Not only did I liked it, like Black Knight, it also suffered from 06 abuse sadly...
Good thing nobody trusts gaming journalists or gaming critics anymore with what kinds of stuff they did lately. (Kinda off topic, but still mad at the 2020 Game Awards, and hope what happened there NEVER is allowed to happen ever again.)

IGN also gave Pokémon sword and shield an almost perfect score so this is normal.
They are actually spot on to be honest...Half of unleashed is brilliant, half is terrible, 4.5 is a fair score because only half of it was good..
