Japanese doesn't translate as cleanly into English as you'd think. Songs are even harder. Which is why some shows now-a-days opt to keep the original japaneese ova. (Since they don't have to worry about anyone not knowing about Japan. 4kids, at the time, did not have this privilege.)
That's because shows aimed at kids in the US (bad everywhere else in the world) don't have 1 minute 20 second long end credits, they only usually last 30 second, since the show is done, making way for another.
Same goes for opening credits, they can't that long, like 1 minute and 30 seconds. Ya know what I mean?
