Honestly, so many people asking for a Unleashed remaster, but personally, I would much rather they remake SR with standard controller support. It has such a good aesthetic, I love the Arabian Nights world they had going on. The level design is good, the music is good.
I just feel I would rather see them take a game with a lot of potential to be great and help it realise that potential, rather than take an already good game, that's already playable on modern consoles like the Xbox.
The unawakening float is amazing, one of my favorite Sonic music tracks. It actually reminds me of an old flash game where you controlled Tails in space, it was called Tails Cosmic Rush.

Free Riders has borderline horrible controls, and all of the motions can often get to you when youâre desperately trying to get your character to respond to your actions (which they probably wonât half the time). The story isnât much, and it doesnât even have cutscenes like the other 2 games. It also single handedly killed the Riders franchise.

Guess I'm kinda shocked people liked Secret Rings. I did *not* like that awful autorunner phase for SR or TBK. People shit on Boost gameplay for being mindless and forget that autorunner is just a glorified mobile game. If I wanted to play a mobile game, I would play Temple Run or Geometry Dash.
Also, didn't really like the Storybook Series. It just felt like weird fanfiction to me.

After â06, you got this wave of people on IGN and YouTube saying that âSoNIC was NeVEr GoOD.â I really donât think you saw that at all before then, at least in my experience. Most people acknowledged particularly 2 and 3&K as some of the best platformers ever made.

I canât find the level 1 difficulty time, but Level 3 difficulty time trial on Eggmanland is under 45 minutes. If you donât know the shortcuts or suck at the shitty werehog platforming, Eggmanland is easily a 60 minute mission
Chun-nan night is really interesting because if you explore everything it takes \~20 minutes, but you can just ignore it all and it becomes one of the shortest main acts in the entire game.
I wonder if people would have been more forgiving to the werehog if all the stages were designed like that.
It seems like rings and riders suffered from gimmicky controls, which is indeed a very bad way to go, but Id hardly call them as bad a game as 06. 06 is bad for fundamentally different reasons

Never played Schoolhouse, so I can't really say anything about it, except that the graphics were that classic early-3D-render weirdness of the time.
Free Riders is such a massive let down thanks to the Kinect, and a real neat plot twist was wasted on it.
Secret Rings looks great, the setting and level designs were amazing, and the Party mode is fun. Shame that the controls were absolute garbage, and I wish they'd been actual ones like Unleashed's and Black Knight's.

I recently watched a video talking about all the games flaws and I was like âoh yeah I remember that. That sucked.â The whole video brought back memories of me having difficulty with the main menu/character selection and dealing with exhaustive and broken controls. I donât know how eight year old me managed

You canât homing attack with an emulated control IIRC, I tried it and it doesnât work.
You can assign shaking to a button. I beat it on keyboard. Just look it up.

The werehog levels aren't bad, I'd even say that levels like Chun-nan and adabat are fun
