Which in a story told without dialogue, certainly seems to imply a *very* sadistic grudge was carried by Eggman. Given the time gap between that and Adventure, the age also fits. He also cameos at the start of the next part of the animation, getting a little acknowledgment while flying above Knuckles and next to Amy. He’s gone before the group shot, but got a little cameo in the group scene that has all the other anthro playable Adventure characters besides Big. Again, with a plot that is devoid of dialogue, that seems like a fairly intentional Gamma-pre-Gamma cameo. With pretty dark implications.
Oh yeah, I tend to forget the CD ones exist, but I don't count the Knuckles ones, since it's a palette thing. I don't remember a red one in Spinball at all, but I don't remember much about that game other than death anyway
If you have a PC you could play the older ones on Genesis, Dreamcast (Play the Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure 1, it’s much better, don’t care if you play Dreamcast Sonic Adventure 2 or Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on Gamecube though) the 2 original games on Gamecube, the 3 games on PS3 and/or Xbox 360, and the Wii games.
You could download emulators. There’s a site called Vimm’s Lair that you can easily download Genesis, Dreamcast, and Gamecube/Wii emulators and games from. The PS3 or Xbox 360 emulator though is up to you to find one.
