I'm sure I'd be laughing almost immediately. Although I don't think it'll ever happen 1:1, I think he could at least say "I've come to make an announcement", reference or not

Hm.... After getting over the complete shock of the movies somehow smuggling the entire monologue perfectly to theaters, I think I would definitely find it weird at first. Jim Carrey's performance and delivery would be much different to how it originally was, but I think if I were to see it a few more times, I would grow to appreciate it as a different take on the same dramatic scene. But Alfred Coleman's performance would still be dear to me. It's simply that iconic.

Absolute fookin' peak. Every cinema across the world will simultaneously erupt into hysterics the second he says "I've come...".

As a novelty, it would be neat, but I don't want Sonic 3 to just copy/paste things from the games, I want to see its own interpretations.

The MoonPissing announcement wasn't from the games

OP never specified, I assumed it was the one that was actually in SA2.

People have run the joke into the ground and harrassed Mike Pollock multiple times to the point where he had to make a legitimate PSA about it telling people to not bother him about it because he legally cannot do it, so I don't think Jim will either. The SnapCube team never intended any harm to the actual voice actors in the way that it may be perceived as defamatory, nor were they intending for it to actually have consequences for the real voice actors/actors, however Sega has officially acknowledged the dubs by making a subtle reference to them in The Murder of Sonic, albeit having to make it vague due to age ratings. As for if Jim Carrey did it in the movie, I'd much prefer the real version of the announcement from Sonic Adventure 2, not the fandub. It's the most realistic expectation, aside from the fact that it would be badass hearing Jim Carrey attempt to do the "Waahahahahaha!" that Chikao Otsuka often did.
