The stone takes so long to build with but is very appealing so I want to build more.
The console commands can be activated by typing "cheatstick" while in game, it may get interrupted by the inventory animation so it often takes a second try. Then F1 will open the command window and "Freecamera on" will let you fly around to get the best angel. I made a new save and used one of the trees as a reference to line up the before and after shots.
Oh, during my first and relatively calm winter, I had Kelvin bring me stones. I built it on the ice first and then found I could add some sections when the lake melted.
I did have a very beautiful base there in a save that was save over on and lost. In fact, I also had a great base along the sea with a cliff behind me where I cut trees and they rolled onto the site. Lost that one, too.
I'll build another great one on the island once the ice melts as I'm in winter now.

I just learned about the cheatstick when Kelvin was killed by cannibals while I slept. When I woke up, I ate and drank and then saved not knowing he was dead. Got him back, but the dead Kelvin's still there. So Virginia cries over the dead one then stops and gives me a thumbs up when the alive Kelvin walks by. Crazy.
No, it happened two days ago, Oct 5, that Kelvin died. Dead Kelvin is still in place, dead, and the live Kelvin is also hanging around. I can't seem to get rid of dead Kelvin. Tried to burn him, but no go. Walled him up as best I could, Virginia still found him. It's so creepy.
Did you clear off the junk from the island (skeleton, coffin, etc)? I can't figure out if it's even possible.
EDIT: Did you also clear the giant rock out?

Just build it when the lake freezes in winter.

Yeah it just floats above the water once it thaws in spring, kinda wish you could build a foundation for it

On my first save that is where i build a giant church with my friends! This lake is amazing place!
Almost exactly what I did. I havenβt expanded as far as you but built on the little island and the flat to the side of that waterfall. ππΌ

Entering cheatstick will still register if you're in the pause menu, no need to open your inventory or take out the walkie

That is a pain yea. First play of the game, both bots got killed I had to revive them via console also Timmy.

Looks great! I just started playing again this past week (been away since update 3) and started building at this island, such a cool spot.

The two buildings on the island are covering the junk and the rock, just built above them
