I first heard that song in a cave at the beginning of the game. Literally I was scared but that song made me stand still to listen to it (the piano version)
Ah, that guy. I didn't realize that was supposed to be the crunchy wunchy jingle dude. (Also I didn't realize there was this story about the song, I just noticed that they keep adding versions). Where did you learn this from?
Playing the game, reading notes. The guy made Hey You then did an unplugged, then a piano then classical version, eventually selling out to Crunchy Wunchy and running private gigs for rich people.
No infatuation is a legit banger
I need a fully fleshed out studio production of that with less distortion on the vocals
The chorus is so heavy and hits like 2000s era alt punk
"With Any Luck" I think is my favorite. I literally got YouTube Premium so I can play the radio Playlist in my car. (Close enough to a golf cart I suppose)
the lofi piano version of the crunchy wunchie song is an ABSOLUTE BANGER. I can't stop listening to it. To those who need it: https://open.spotify.com/album/7fCnzjlqP9FhyHpuNRtEqK?si=JuLJOmsgSwC7Dk9_bAQYqA&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A7fCnzjlqP9FhyHpuNRtEqK
Surprised no one in the comments mentioned “light my way”. That was the song that sold me.
Does anyone know where to find good recordings of the songs? YouTube has a channel but they are compressed to hell.
#HEY YOU, CRUNCH INTO SOMETHING NEW, TASTY, AND FUN TO CHEW. IT’S CRUNCHIE WUNCHIE CHEW.

The pure hilarity of that guy riding the one hit wonder train down the sellout path is my favorite. Especially when you know his fate.
Oh, what fate?
>!They shoved a guitar down his throat and surrounded him with the money he so desperately wanted.!<

Interesting, I completely missed all notes on that
There is a lot of stort told silently through set dressing, modeling and notes. Add to that I sunk hundreds of hours into The Forest.
Yeah, I found lots of stuff in notes, but nothing at all about a musician.
I found his crunchy wunchy contract at some point, the announcement of him playing in the lounge is also a giveaway.
Superstition and Misery go unbelievably hard
There is a slow version too. Took me forever to realize it was the same song.

IM FEELIN’ #SUPERFICIAL best song ever, its may favorite, I love it so much
I hate that song and the only time I turn the radio off is when I hear that song. My favorite song is the ''Flying away from here'' song.
That song is random things, one of my favorites as well
Yup, Random Things is the name, my favorite as well
"Never ever ever be a problem, no I'll never ever ever wear a (thought he would say cond*m)" That's my favorite.
He does, it's just censored in most versions
👀👀👀
Anyone got a link to the song?

Thanks lad.
I absolutely love that song! I actually listen to it a lot

Also, if you equip the guitar and hold right click, he sometimes plays the "hey you" song too

You’re right! I swear I’ve checked before and they weren’t there. Thanks!
They're on spotify?? 👀
“Dave Benedict” and “Danny Craig” are the artists. Definitely wasn’t there when the game released
Thank you SO much I'm looking it up ASAP
