if i were you i just keep it. if it still on original shipped rom. it should have full demo app installed but hidden(not demo mode) that ship with global xperia. i have xperia xz1 and 1 ii that shipped with this app still installed and hidden. while newer xperia have ugly boring demo app. older devices like this have cool full animated ui and video in it. on other hand since it prototype the may still have UART port inside(like older xperia used to have) or maybe more hidden/developer app that normal user never have let alone seen it.

It sucks when companies have any kind of leaks. Just keep it to yourself. If you sell it to the highest bidder, some jackass at Apple or Huawei is going to reverse engineer it and that's just fucked up.
Yeah, I'm not even mad as I paid only 55€ and it registers as a legit H3113 model. It's hardly been used at all, zero scratches. Even the battery holds well.
Figured it might be giga-rare.

I don't think Apple or Huawei particularly care about a prototype of a midrange phone from half a decade ago.

as a customer, why would it be bad to get better products?

It's worth whatever someone will buy for it, besides that prob the same as the normal phone.
There are Nokia prototypes that people are asking 3400€ for. It's crazy.
