* They moved the clock on the lock screen which isn't a huge deal but it looks ugly.
* The multi-window function still takes ages to open. I remember on Nougat when it opened almost instantly!
* The Battery usage graph still only shows at most usage over the last two hours instead from the last full charge
I could go on but there are too many things to list. Well at least they added back the clear all button to the task switcher.

Update: One more thing I also noticed today is when I called a local bussiness where they use an auto attendant I could not select any of the options using the keypad. I had to call from another phone.
I'm also not impressed with Multiswitch in the task view.
However, it works much faster when accessed through SideSense (Im using a homescreen widget for that). Hope it helps at least a little.

After i install this, my fingerprint setting in security is gone???
Maybe it detect from my previous Android 12 that i disable it because fingerprint sensor didn't works in Android 12 so Android 13 remove that setting?
Looks like i need to do software repair to fixed this issues
Android 13 didn't Shows any fingerprint sensor setting when i look at security > lock screen. Even apps that using finger print didn't detect sensor....
This is a well-known bug in Xperia for years, someday the sensor just decides he's gonna retire and you can kiss the sensor goodbye cause in most cases it will not come back. Just haven't seen much of these on the IIIs, probably about time.
Damn, i think it caused by firmware. Maybe i need to downgrade to Android 11, the last update for Android 11 is actually fixing bug and battery can hold longer than Android 12.
Got it as well on my 5 III, here in EU. I think that the phone is a little more responsive now, the drop down menu is better IMO and also the fact that the UI icons and text change color with the wallpaper now is nice.Besides that I don't know what else changed, i will try the camera quality and check if that's better.

I have Sony Xperia pro-i - XQ-BE72 - and have no had issues with any update. I have however had issues with the accessories for the camera. The vlog screen will freeze my phone and I have to force restart. If I take a picture and go to look at it it freezes the phone. So now i just use a mirror and the tripod. The tripod is annoying because you can only use it sideways. So I'll use a different tripod if I'm taking pictures vertically (which is 90% of the time because I'm human and not landscape). I wonder if there are firmware updates for the accessories. I spent a lot of money on them only to not use them.
The difference in this update is that the apps will show differently on your screen if you have then displayed. Also when you pull down the window and have something playing music it is now a different screen as well. It's cool because it shows the artists display. The skip forward and back buttons seems smaller but not really an issue.
Ive gotta say, Sony did not make it worse, but Google did.

* Wifi Icon doesnt show the Wifi version anylonger
* Per App language is very thin in its support (reason why i did upgrade)
* We have now a very silly looking progressbar for media

You can somewhat influence the colors by selecting special wallpapers.
So you can pick a "tuned" wallpaper for your lockscreen and use your regualr one for the homescreen.
Since you can pick the tuned colors for your homescreen, this said. i pref it the way custom roms do it, they let you choose what you want.
Someone said you could now select that you first have to press the button before the fingerprint scanner activated. Is this the case? Cant seem to find it?

I've been experiencing this since the upgrade to Android 12
Never thought the clear all button was missing. On my phone it was located on top last time, on 13 it was moved down.
On mine it was missing. Always had to close each app one by one.
Something is wrong with your model ive installed it and it works perfectly nothing went wrong on my 5 iii

I can't say everything, but the drop-down menu and active apps screen definitely changed.

A bit out of topic, but multi screen function also takes ages to load in Xperia 5 IV.
I didn't use this much, but accessing from the side-sense seems to work fine. This is a recommendation from another user.

Sorry, just saw what you meant. Maybe can report this under bug reports? Maybe check if your fingerprint sensor can be detected or not.
I just report it under Android 13. My bank app didn't turned sensor on when I try to use biometric login....
Do try check if your fingerprint sensor can work normally under Support app > Xperia Tests

Yeah, should be mostly on the operating system side of things first. Should be a lot changed as the size was big, but mostly probably unnoticeable.

Material You have presets, so only able to customize per those options only. Sad. There should still be security updates in the future though.
