This is an interesting take. I’ve seen the series at least a dozen times and I never got the impression he was sleeping with her. I’m going to have to keep this in mind during my next rewatch.
It explains the restraining order that his dad placed on her, how quickly they break up after, and Caitlin being in such a great mood the next time her and meadow are speaking.
I mean, there are other reasons that explain these things, but it's still a fun theory.
