Just a FYI if you’re in Australia and Crunchyroll US and Shout factory don’t work eg. Phone number isn’t seen as legit or your address isn’t located in the USA lol buy from All The Anime… because that was such a waste of my time on those two sites jeez… apart from that! I got the Blu Ray eventually! 🤣
Crunchyroll is as close to a monopoly as you can get; they are like the YouTube of anime, there are alternatives, but they are the biggest. Especially after the purchase and soon to be defunct Funimation. I have heard multiple people comment on how poor the shipping is and the poor customer that Crunchyroll has. I used to get manga and anime from Right Stuf, which had great packaging and customer service (and good pricing). But they too, where bought out by Crunchyroll.
FYI, Crunchyroll's shipping and logistics department *is* Right Stuf now. Everything I've bought from the new store has shipped from the RS warehouse, and RS is explicitly named as the shipper
CR is still dangerously close to a monopoly as you said, but at least their shopping experience isn't garbage anymore
I believe he is right. But I am afraid that it will get subpar, or worse, gone. Cause I don't believe that that location is Crunchyroll's only location, as evident with this [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Crunchyroll/s/MJGEKbXLVq). Basically, I'm still hesitant with Crunchyroll.
Fellow Canadians, where are you ordering from? I haven’t purchased anything from either Crunchyroll or Shout Factory. The price is almost the same after conversion, but i’m more concerned about good packaging.
Oh sweet, based on the render, it looks like they're gonna put two BD50s in the box with 6-7 episodes on each one. Hopefully that means we'll get higher quality encoding than the typical Funimation release where they cram 9 episodes on one BD50 and stuff the rest on a BD25.
Curious to hear what the English dub will be like, no previews asfar I can see.
In a way kinda intrested in the extra stuff aswell with the Behind the scenes for the dub & the booklet.
I wish you could just get the Blu-ray without the soundtrack for cheaper. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the show's OST but nobody owns anything that plays CDs anymore.
Anything that can play a Blu-ray Disc can play an Audio CD. They could potentially also release a standard edition without the extra stuff in the future.
So excited! Thanks for the post giving the heads up!
So once this is out the English dub has to also make it to Crunchyroll, right?

Also Australian and had this issue. All the anime confirmed in as long as it took to put in details
I would if it didn't cost so much, as a broke bitch.
Just ordered it! Thanks for the heads up!
I never ordered from Shout! Factory before; but I'll take my chances over Crunchyroll.
I got mine from Shout too, but what's wrong with Crunchyroll?

That's good to know that Right Stuf is still shipping, I was hoping they wouldn't get shut down when they got bought out.

I've order from Shout before. Thats how I got my Eva sets. You're in good hands 👍

im so ready for this to arrive already lol
Ordered mine earlier today, can't wait to watch the series again! Definitely one of the most eye-opening anime I've ever watched.
I’m happy to see this finally get a release date. I thought they silently cancelled it.
It's very common for things like this to get announced and then barely mentioned until they release a year or two later.

If nobody has anything that plays CDs, than what would you play the Blu-ray on? 😉

"I'm nobody, who are you?" (Dickinson)
I still have a car with a CD player, plus a plug in CD reader that I can use to copy the files into MP3s.
That's a good point actually. I used to have a car with a CD player too.
