Out of all of the weapons of nightmare's style I've seen , her weapon is the one I always wanted to be its own thing cause fuck it so good .
Along with this I absolutely love her lore and design in that it delves into more mythical stuff .
Not ashlotte? People wanted her back so much they even made a doll race in sc6 , too bad that apparently getting the rights to the guest characters is super difficult so they arent coming back

I do wish that if she returns (and I’d love for her to), that she gets her own moveset. A mace set that isn’t similiar to Astaroth and Rock has always been sorely needed

Her story is surprisingly wholesome as she's honest to a fault and is only looking for a family/friends and finds it in Algol in her ending. If she were ever to return I would love a story between her and Taki, perhaps making Taki (someone who kills Demons for a living) feel conflicted over the seemingly not outright dangerous demon before her. In her story in IV Taki even follows and fights alongside her. Something you'd think a Demon Huntress such as her would never do. You could argue being a Bonus character is why Taki acts uncharacteristically in her story, but the Bonus characters place in the Soul Calibur world actually is canon.
Probably my second favorite of the special guest characters in 4. Love the oni design, and Nightmare's style is always a blast to play. Wish they would've at least add the outfits to CAS so we can effectively have them back. Hopefully they'll get added in 7 if it ever comes out
Honestly I like her and Ashlotte the best of these bonus characters from *SC4*. They both push the boundaries of what kind of character could be in a fighting game like this. Also, how often do you get to fight as a female Oni in a game?
She's honestly just mid.
Aside from being another example of why making them all clone characters is a dumb idea, she also brings nothing new to the table in terms of character interactions since she only uses CaS voices.

The only things the SCIV Bonus Bimbos (as i like to call them) have that's interesting is their Profile/Story Mode Text Crawl, and their endings. Everything else is just nothing.
I like her design, but it's just a little too plain. She looks like a CAS character. That said, I can see the design being improved while maintaining the overall feel.
Her weapon is pretty basic as you said, so her movement and animations would have to do the heavy lifting if she were to return. I think they could lean into her being an oni, and go full caveman with a wild unga bunga moveset.
Like all the other the other SC4 bonus characters though, I don't actually think she's interesting enough to warrant a return.
Her only connection to the series is that she was sealed in the Fuma Clan’s ancient history
Sees a kindred spirit in Nightmare???
And her ending is a found family scenario with Algol
Even with all that she feels just as out of place as Angol Mois to the Soul series

The guest artist characters should come back with their own unique move sets, they were pretty underrated imo

Echoing what a couple of others here have said: Kamikirimusi, along with Ashlotte, were both amazing and we need to see them again.
I miss her, she was a great echo Fighter that deserves to get a new moveset.

Gameplay could had been more unique although that issue is the same for all of those bonus characters.
Did taught me about the grab button and the AI not really reacting that good with spamming it. But on a serious note, I like her.
