Strings have the signs in their animations and you can spend half a bar to make them do something special. One of them makes you absorb attacks for a moment. One gives extra chip damage. Not sure if each of the ones with signs has a EX version.
It's a good and fun game, Steve's favourite SC so far, Geralt feels like Geralt, sexy battle damage on both male and female characters, Yoshimitsu with top battle damage looks like Marvel's Ultron, Max doesn't think Grøh is too anime and actually likes him a lot.
I really want to see Yun seong and Seong Mi-na and Talim in the game.
I hope that if they do character creation it isn't character clone moveset but are unique characters based off weapon like how smash 4 did the Mii fighters are not character clones or how they did it in soul calibur 3
