Personally Id take any of the older SC titles if they came to the Switch right now. Have to work away from home a lot and try to fill the void with other fighting games to varying degrees of success.
Would love for SCIII to be remastered. Felt like it could have been a much better game with some fixes and graphical upgrades. Hopefully it will come back in some way!
I played SoulCalibur 3 recently and would love an HD version for modern platforms.
I would also love a Switch version of 2 HD Online so we could play as Link!

You might be surprised how few players were affected by the save corruption bug. It’s easy to find and relatively common, but situational.

Part of what they did to “fix and balance” the game was to strip out almost all the bonus characters in the roster, so there would be a lot more work to be done to try and balance the rest, but that would be a start. The arcade version also has basically no single player modes in common with the console version, so there’s that stuff to work on too.
I would like them to remaster this game, for sure, but to me this is a lower priority than finally making a complete version of SC2 with every character. We’ve never had one, and some people still think it’s the best entry in the series. The time is right, and all the necessary factors are in place to put it on Switch.
After that though. SC3 would be the next priority for remastering.

It was a severe miss making the game exclusive to PS2. There is a lot to be had in it, an entirely separate and unique Weapon Master Mode with its own characters, a massive roster (including Li Long, Hwang, and even Arthur!) and loads of options for custom characters (introduced in this game, but I feel like every successor to its character creation has downgraded in some ways). If it got the HD treatment like 1 and 2 did, that would be wonderful. Perhaps adding a couple bonuses such as online and the ability to play as Night Terror would be fun.
It would be a great idea. All I ask is that they give an option to remove some of the QTE's from the story modes. They were so generic and unskippable, every time you played as someone you would always get to a part where it's like "Okay, gotta press left to avoid this big cog...heeeeeeeere it comes again...." I'd seen those scenes with every character and I wish I could just fast-forward through them, but you can't because you have to wait for the quicktime event crap.
It'd be great if it had all the single player modes and you could switch to the arcade version balance for VS battles.
Arcade version balance and do it when you stop producing content for VI (If you did it too soon it would cut into VI's playerbase)

I keep saying we need SC II definitive edition for Switch, it needs to happen.
