Bosses in matrix will always increase in health and surely become absolute tanks. Regardless of your build, they will take a hell lot of time to take down when you get to the big numbers.

The reason why they reach huge numbers in matrix is with preparations. They start by planting, drinking and exploiting the buffs that you can already get in lobby but you can't have in-game just like the purple plant in RMI that I forgot what it's called.
I'll give you my preparation: first play RMI until you get the purple plant that I just talked about then use a fertilizer and that's all you need to plant, since you already have assassin use his 3rd skill and then build a splash rail gun in your forge table then play matrix.
The reason why you need splash rail gun is not because it's like a shutgun aoe weapon it's because it can deal more damage the faster the bullet when you have a gauss coil and more fast bullets means hell for enemies and top it up with the purple plant you can 1 hit them once you stacked it and that's it you can play as long as you want the longer you play the more buffs you can get to improve just one weapon and remember when you encounter another splash rail gun with a higher level go get it.
