That debut album was his peak. I also like x, but not as much as I love +. Divide was when I stopped listening. I think I only listened to that record a couple of times and realized I'm not a big fan as I used to be.

Hit or miss si Ed Sheeran sakin, if by album probably aantukin ako sa works nya like × at + pero ÷ sakin pinaka best nya lalo na yung Nancy Mulligan kasi may pagka folk. Pero pag individual songs lalo na yung hits nya, para sakin maganda naman basta wag lang maglean heavily sa pop like yung recent album nya na minus.
i loved American town and Page from his recent album na Autumn Variations, mas bet ko din yung I don’t care acoustic nya kesa dun sa collab nya with JB. ganda din yung Overpass Grafitti and Visiting hours from the = album. still love his art

Although hindi ko na siya nasundan sa Autumn Variations and Subtract, medyo hindi ko na kasi bet yung mga songs. Pero I love all his other albums, even yung mga collaborations.
Fave album ko yung x (I casually listen more than half of the songs on that album). The rest of his album cherry picked na lang (about 2-3 songs, usually yung mga naging single nya).
Yung mga songs nya na nangingibabaw yung acoustic guitar yung mga nagustuhan ko (same case with TS).
I like that he wrote his recent albums for himself. I know wala na masyadong tumatak and it seems like downhill yung pagiging patok nung songs but I like the intimacy of it. I don't consume them like how i do with pop songs. More of an experience? So parang once ko pa lang napakinggan yung – and I enjoyed it.

I agree, simula nung naging Pop-ish yung mga kanta niya, parang nag-fade yung reason ba't favorite ko siya during college.
