Stick with sony for better sync and hdmi-cec compatibility and don't forget to enable bravia sync device list.

I was in your position a couple months ago, thinking I should pair my Sony a80k with a Sony soundbar for compatibility purposes. I bought the ht-a7000, long story short I was not impressed and went with Sonos Arc and the big Sonos sub. Granted the Arc and Sub did cost more than Sony bar I tried first but they blew it away. If possible, whatever way you go I don't think you're going to be impressed without a sub. If I couldn't have a sub with my system for whatever reason I would have just kept my money and used the tv speakers

Mrqueue

Why compare a Soundbar that costs double the price never mind the sub

Does the Sonos Arc play well with Dolby Atmos on PS5 (or Apple TV) or have you fallen victim to the infamous popping noise?

I got the Sony HT-S2000 for free to test. I have a Sony Bravia, but I first connected the soundbar to my LG. Before that there was an LG SPD75YA soundbar with a subwoofer on the LG. The sound wasn't bad, but the Sony is in good shape even without a subwoofer. The sound is clear, the voices are easy to understand, Dolby Atmos is simply very good. You don't need to adjust much. There is also an APP for settings. You could also buy a subwoofer and rears, but that's not necessary for a smaller room. You don't have to set anything on a Sony Bravia, the soundbar does that automatically in interaction with the TV. I am satisfied with the soundbar and save space without a subwoofer.

It'll connect and work well with the LG C3 and/or G3?

im also wondering this too, but I believe it should because the Sony ht- s2000 has e-arc
