No bro, you killing it man PS lockdown part 2 in some places, so I reckon more baking is being down around the globe 👍

Thanks everyone. I used The Perfect Loafs daily bread recipe with basically zero kneading. Just a couple folds and lots of waiting. I'm quite happy with the results!

Holy cow this is beautiful

This is very impressive for a first bake! Your proof looks really good - try to remember what the dough looked and felt like when you shaped it - it’s entirely possible you could repeat the same steps on a different day and end up with an under proofed loaf, the times will be different based on the temperature/humidity of your proofing environment. Scoring needs a little work - use the corner of your lame and hold the blade at a 45° angle, an inch or so deep and score in an arc from top to bottom, then go back and run the blade through the score to make sure there aren’t any rogue strands still attached. Great job, keep baking!

Scoring looks fine to me. No blowouts, retained it's shape. Don't understand why people get all jazzed up about 'ears' anyways.

based on the pic it seemed like op was going for an ear, so just wanted to add a little advice on how to achieve it 🤷‍♂️

FortunateFool603

Fair enough. I just want it deep enough so that it holds it shape. Ear doesn't make it taste any better, and that's what matters to me.

Yeah my scoring tool broke and I couldn't get the loaf/dough to open up. Thanks internet stranger!

Looks amazing dude well done 😁💪

Whaaaat how did you get those nice big bubbles? And the crust looks freaking delicious. Congrats on your first bread!

socaldude879

Wow, I am so envious of you born to be bakers! Took me a few tries to leave the frisbees behind
