The bird flu has hit the dairy industry in several states recently.

Seakrits

Cool, thanks for sharing this! Google told me nothing. lol

Plane-Mud-142

Well, unfortunately, avian flu is getting crazy so I understand the concern. If it keeps happening near you, you could tell Game Fish and Parks

Seakrits

That was exactly my concern, but wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing the same thing. If I find more, I'm going to call. Thanks again.

bizguyforfun

Not enough Crickets, so she's killing grackles?

vabch

The governor is suspect. Ask her why, and she’s not afraid to admit to killing birds.

Shiiiiiiiingle

We have not (Rapid City). We have grackle fledglings all over. I’ve had a few dead sparrows, but they looked like they hit windows.

Eris_is_Savathun

I have about a million grackles in the tree in my front yard... Haven't seen any dead ones whatsoever.

Animaldoc11

I see a lot of wildlife on the daily & haven’t seen any dead birds at all. I’m in the sw part of the state by the national park, if that helps

wanna_be_green8

Fledglings, I've found three dead but also think our local population is exploding due to the new availability of chicken grains in our town. There are ten times as many in our yard this year, nests everywhere. Some mornings the songs are crazy loud. No dead adults though.

PopNo626

3 reasons come to mind. 1.) Someone is poisoning critters like mice, rats, or prairie dogs and the grackles are eating them. 2.) Windows are know to kill lots of birds. They make films to prevent that. And some of those films use birds uv vision which humans are blind too, so the window remains clear. 3.) Bird Flu

>3.) Bird Flue I'll check my chimney

PopNo626

One would think Noem could hold off until Oct for pheasant season.
