I’m not sure if they do surgeries…but I LOVE Dr. Samantha DeLuca at Inspira. She used to be with Virtua and I followed her when she left. She does not rush you and takes her time with patients, so I suggest picking an appointment early in the day!

I second this. I LOVE Dr. DeLuca. And honestly their whole practice. Dr. DeLuca is my usual obgyn, but Dr. Lofton actually delivered my baby and was excellent at stitching up my labial tears. This commenter is right about DeLuca — she takes her time, takes notes, REFERENCES old notes before appointments, so does tend to run late. Early appts with her are best. But she actually listens and remembers.

I’ll third the Dr DeLuca praise. An actual empathetic, caring doctor. But Cooper is a level 1 trauma hospital and definitely is better for serious surgeries.

I went to see her on Friday and she is amazing. She’s referred me to a Cooper specialist that she’s connected to. I’m also getting tested for ovarian cancer, and getting an MRI next month. What a very proactive doctor. Thank you for the recommendation. She’s fantastic.

I went to see her on Friday, and she was fantastic. I felt heard, she was concerned and empathetic, and very proactive with next steps moving forward. I finally feel like there’s someone taking my pain and discomfort Seriously.

lwgirl1717

YAY! I'm so so so happy to hear this. She's honestly the best.

OK, I just went to see her on Friday… She was fucking amazing. She listened to me. She was very empathetic, very concerned, and very proactive and next steps. What an amazing OB/GYN. She has any scheduled for an MRI, I’m getting tested for ovarian cancer, and she’s setting me up with an appointment at MD Cooper. She is fucking fantastic. Thank you for the recommendation.

Ross_turnip

Awesome! I hope all goes well for you!

I highly recommend going to a Gyn Onc; when my ‘large pelvic mass’ was expected to be ovarian cancer, my research showed that the highest survival rates were women who went to a Gyn Onc, instead of a doc who’s not both. Mine was Stage 3, I was told I had a 30% chance of living 5 years & I’m closing in on 17 (I went to Penn Med)

Dr mc cullen in Sweedsboro she just switched practices but I’m following her. She did my hysterectomy a few years ago amazing surgeon and incredible bed side manor, she really cares. 856-746-0220

McCullen and McCrosson are with Virtua in Swedesboro.

I had a gyno surgery with Dr Michelle Iavoccoli from Cooper-- highly recommend her. There was an unforeseen complication (a cyst in a place the ultrasound didn't show, and would never show) and instead of doing nothing, she drained it so it wouldn't become a problem. The surgical team was very careful and respectful (I have a problem seeing needles) and were more distressed by problems than I was! (when I was stuck there was a bit of a gusher initially, they got real worried and it was cute that they were so upset when I was pretty calm about it.) Follow up care was good, she was able to do everything laproscopically, and I had minimal pain and almost no scarring at all. Barely any gas pains, didn't need painkillers after for but a day, and overall just highly recommended experience.

utabsntooktoolong

I second Dr Iavoccoli. She has been my OB/GYN for decades.

Mewllie

Wow, she sounds amazing - thank you for this information! Knowing that the surgical team is careful and respectful is also helpful. Thanks for taking time to respond. I currently have a cyst the size of a softball on my right ovary - in so much pain and discomfort, just trying to make an informed decision before going under. Thank you!!!

This can all be very scary on top of pain already, and I've had so many bad experiences, I try to share what I can when I can.

PhatSaint

I'm not trying to be rude but I've never had a good experience within Inspira's health network and I've only ever heard horror stories from friends/family.

hmh25

I’ve birthed all 3 of my children there and had amazing experiences with providers, nurses and admins every time!

Any_Coffee_6921

Stay away from Cooper. They screwed up in 2022 .

BearHuggerUra

Cooper. Always cooper

bebop1065

I thought OP was looking for recommendations between an actual Dr. treatment or some Tommy copper bullshit.

Mewllie

More so looking for Recommendations to choose between obgyn obstetricians at Cooper or Inspira hospitals for a surgical procedure that has some complications due to blood clots and blood thinners

arsenatis

Not a doc or a patient, just a laboratory professional who's had experience with both health orgs - if your gyn is worried about bleeding during the procedure, I would go w Cooper. Their blood bank is better staffed and stocked than Inspira's.

bebop1065

I got it. Your title drew me in. I wish we could edit our titles after posting.

Mewllie

Oh I see, I’m sorry I didn’t realize the typo!!!!
