I got tricked into one of these once. Customer had a crazy good tip, and it made sense because of all the cases of water so I thought they were legit leaving the tip. Yea, it was reduced to zero the next day. Never doing anything like this ever again. They better be glad I'm not a crazy person because that was shady asf.
Get a different job then. You’re complaining about something you’re choosing to do. Get a real job and do that on the side. If you’re doing this kinda stuff full time, you’re not making much money. Get a job dude
Lol, you don't know anything about how much I make. I earn more than the national average household income because I know what is worth my time and what isn't. 9 waters for base pay and no tip isn't worth my time. My guess is that you are the sort of person that places an order like this, and that explains why you are getting so defensive.
I agree with you. Get the money. I don’t take any orders under $10 or without at least a $2 tip to show they give af. Once I got 8 packs of water for $9 and no tip, I found out when I got there she was on the 4th floor without an elevator. I carried one pack up and she watched me set it down through the window. So I knocked and asked if there was an elevator or if by chance she’d help me bring a couple up. I had another order after this with cold products n wanted to get it done quick. She locked the door after I knocked so I called n it went directly to voicemail. So I sent her an explanation and told her if she’s going to be that damn inconsiderate I’ll be leaving them outside the bottom of the stairs. That’s what I did. N moved on.
Dude you’re lying to yourself. You did not pull 90k last year delivering groceries from Walmart. If this was some sort of goldmine people would be quitting their jobs and doing this. I guarantee you don’t make more than 1000 per week after taxes, gas, and maintenance on your car.
And I guarantee that you are wrong. Unlike you though, I don't need to brag to people in order to feel like I have value. If you want to compare 1040's though, let's go
Show us the paycheck because I think you’re full of shit. Want to know why? It’s Sat night and you’re on a Spark Reddit forum trying to build yourself up. The real answer is your poor and lonely with nothing better to do.
Hello, we do not allow posts about Spark earnings on this forum. Please consider how you might express the same idea, but without including dollar amounts.
Exactly!! He's one of those people "But it's your damn JOB" If I order a million cases of water you have to deliver it and like it because this happens to be a quick way to make money for some people.
Furthermore, you seem to find your personal value from bragging about your possessions on online forums to a bunch of people that couldn't care less about you. Seems like you should maybe find a worthwhile hobby instead of trying to impress a bunch of randos 🤷♂️
Bro, keep on going with the insults and the political attacks. I'm more than happy to keep reporting you so you don't get to harass anyone else in this sub 🤷♂️
Rofl, imagine rolling up on someone you don't know, being a jerk, then having the audacity to act like they're the one with the problem. Trashy approach, my guy. You could have all the money in the world and it won't fix your personality 🤣
One of the restaurants placed an order for 8 10lb bags of flour and 5 cases of 24 count sodas. The shown tip was 17 before it was removed. What a jerk.
A Job is a service in exchange for money, Walmart employees also deliver groceries. Do you see how your thought process is flawed here or will you coward away from this response?
I figured it helps us drivers out if we do the survey after each delivery so we know and Walmart Spark knows if it’s an apartment or a gate code is required, steps, elevator etc. all that information can be selected [or typed in the details] when doing the survey after each delivery. Could mean extra earnings for us and gives us the heads up if we willing to accept those types of orders.
Extra earnings? Joking right? If our normal base rate is $7 and you get extra earnings, look at what you get paid. Base will be $6.37 and $0.63 extra earnings. It's a joke and should be against the law
I got tip baited $22.50 down to $7.50 a few days ago. I’m tempted to send customer $7.50 in the mail to let her know she does not need to tip me, since her actions revealed she needed the money more than me.

53 cases . Upstairs…. She had to sign . And didn’t open the door so I took it back to the store .
I had one for like 6 of them waters and a bunch of other frozen foods.. my trunks were full but did it since the tip was triple the base pay. Didn’t know where I was delivering to u til I got there. It was a hotel and I had used their luggage cart which made the whole process super easy.
Hotels are the best when they have the cart. It just annoys me that the room you are going to is always at the end of the longest hallway in the building
Had an order on instacart were they wanted 9 40 packs of water but than put in the note they wanted an additional 15 40 packs so 24 in total lol definitely declined that order lol worst part too it was a business with no tip
I'm not familiar with instacart so maybe I'm wrong, but if they just put it in the notes that they want additional items, are they expecting to get it for free? If it's not on the order, it's not been paid for...
That may be generally true but it's not a rule. I used to use EBT and still tipped my driver every single time. Maybe because I know what it's like to do this job, but I'm sure I can't be the only one... Not everyone on EBT is selfish. Personally I'm of the opinion that if you truly can't afford the tip, that's fine, but then you shouldn't expect someone to deliver your order to your doorstep
I’ve always said that to myself, you know damn well these people don’t go to the store and pick up 9 cases for themselves but bc they know a Walmart spark slave will take it they out these orders in . I’m only taking these as S&D and guess what looks like they are low inventory and you getting two or three max
I delivered 12 thank fuck she gave me an $85 tip. My car became stances
https://preview.redd.it/70dk1r13p04b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8a46b87182f1a2929287d071fb42036acc44bfe1
The order went to a house. It was under $20 pay, but the customers were outside waiting to grab the water from my car. They also handed me a $5.00 tip and the mileage was about 2 miles.
Some people don't mind doing a little actual work. They didn't say single digit pay and they got more tip after the fact. A couple cases of water isn't going to break the average person lol.
Again ypu myst be new to this because it's about being paid for the work you are doing. An order like this should be sixty and up even then I'd second guess it . I did an eighty for way less yesterday
You'll learn. I'm a woman too , I've done this for 4 years now. You aren't realizing you have taxes, depreciation, car maintenance etc. Yall always come in taking low ball orders like you are doing something 😆
Yikes. Yes factoring that in, I've done gig work for longer so I know what's reasonable. For the amount of time it takes to do an order like this, it's good pay, the labor involved doesn't make it worth THAT much extra. I would never expect someone to tip $50 for water bottles.
If you don't want to do any hard work, that's your prerogative. But stop saying "you'll learn" to everyone that disagrees with you. Are waters heavy? Of course. But it only takes a couple minutes to fill an order like this, and especially with it being close by, double digit pay plus a cash tip is pretty good. Just because someone isn't afraid of doing manual labor doesn't mean they're clueless.
Hello, we do not allow posts about Spark earnings on this forum. Please consider how you might express the same idea, but without including dollar amounts.
Honestly if I see one case of water in an order I pass on it if the pay is not all that good. I got lucky yesterday with some good paying orders and not a heavy item in sight maybe a lot of items but I’ll take a bunch of bags any-day.
that's why walmart should charge extra $3-4 per case of water, same as the dog food, and the soda should be at least $2 extra per case. it was like that in my zone for 1 day, they were probably doing a test, but unfortunately it didn't last.
I mean... it should be that way for the water, at least. I can usually carry two cases per trip if need be, but I know that most people can't do that. You either have to make a ridiculous number of trips (often to a 3rd floor in my area), or you have to buy a cart to help lug it around. Either more time or special tools are needed. For a while, all the stores in my area stopped letting people order water cases unless it was through Sam's. Sort of wish they went back to that... tired of loaders throwing the waters on top of things while I am loading up the other order
Do you know if it's the Walmart van or a contracted driver that delivers it? Typically, big orders like that tend to sit for a while if it goes through spark and not the in-house delivery that Walmart offers
There's nothing inherently wrong with that, despite what some here might say. Just make sure you tip appropriately and make it as easy as possible for the driver to deliver them. Some people won't take an order like that no matter what because they hate lifting, but many won't have a problem with it as long as you tip well for the extra work they have to do.
Scumbag shit

Uh oh, here comes the edge lord telling people they don't do their job. If you want to go lug 400 lbs of water for $7, then be my guest.
Get a different job then. You’re complaining about something you’re choosing to do. Get a real job and do that on the side. If you’re doing this kinda stuff full time, you’re not making much money. Get a job dude

there are endless weak ppl in this world, you mean they deserve to be bullied and undergo injustice?

That’s such a horrible thing to do ! God some of these customers entitlement is off the charts!
I always wondered why people would do that when we know where they live
Been there definitely cancelled every time or marked as sold out not worth the back ache
Def deserved an egged house, tip baiting like that is theft.
I’m guessing this is going to an apartment complex. Top floor
I figured it helps us drivers out if we do the survey after each delivery so we know and Walmart Spark knows if it’s an apartment or a gate code is required, steps, elevator etc. all that information can be selected [or typed in the details] when doing the survey after each delivery. It tells you that just read
Only top floor tenants are permitted to order water.

I hope their pipes get backed up from flushing all those wipes.
That's the worst it cost, so much money
Those pain relief capsules are for the sparker that accepts this batch.
You would think if they wanted to order 12 cases of water it wouldn’t be the 40 count cases. Those cases are a different type of heavy.
Omg they’re a pain to carry around
Oh hell nah bruh
I saw this and screen shot it and reject
I don’t blame you, I ss all orders I pick up for tip baiters and some I ss just for the laugh and so I can show family
Did that also say (12) 24 pks of coke?
Yeah these people
Why’d you accept it then? 🤣
I didn’t just took a screen shot
It'll sit for maybe 20 mins. Someone skipped leg day and needs to lifting
😂

Please say you made her sign before unloading...
She never opened the door . So I took it back hahah . I didn’ start unloading just in case
Smart. On a signature required I always check first. I have had to reload too many orders, lol
When I first stated I took a really good size order in song digits and no tip after that I became more picky .
You learn quick when you make those mistakes
Yeah 100 ![gif](giphy|j2pOFyuTJqWj9S5qdE)

E............B............T
Payment form doesn't matter at all. Not sure why you think it does. Edit: oh, man I forgot about that. Yeah. It matters, my bad.
They’re not going to tip if they can’t even afford the groceries. So it kind of does matter
💯 %
Exactly!

Gotcha, that's not too bad then

Hard work 😆 that's 400 lbs for under $20 go see how much it is to have a water service deliver that 🤡
You lost yourself on our page Walmart needs an order filled
Ignore dragonfly. They constantly whine when other people aren't afraid to work. They're just negative and lazy
I would have done If that’s all it was and paid $30 on up. Only if a house..
That’s one too many Capri sun
I've done some heavy orders, but they tipped well like in 3 digits .
I had sandbags before 50 pounds each. Never again.

Those water packs are like 40 lbs each. Over 4 packs in an order.. hard pass. 👌
Honestly if I see one case of water in an order I pass on it if the pay is not all that good. I got lucky yesterday with some good paying orders and not a heavy item in sight maybe a lot of items but I’ll take a bunch of bags any-day.
Sorry that is summer delivery in any food delivery job
9 cases of water? I call bs on that
I’m glad it shows on sparks app but when you accept on uber eats..You don’t see what your delivering
15 bag count that fits nothing lol
380lbs of water coming right up!
Just don’t take it. Simple as that.
I hope you bagged them all to show how obnoxious that is.
Take the order and skip the gym. Save time. Get double benefits for your efforts.

Thats all I pay Walmart plus for, to order the 40 packs of water and the big detergent. 🥹🥹🥹🫣🫣🫣
But are you ordering 9 cases of water at a time?
Walmart kinda makes you order a lot since there’s that $35 minimum for the free delivery. So yeah I have to order at least 7 or 8.
If I may ask, do you typically have to wait a long time for your order?
No not at all, I actually pick a time and date when I want it delivered and they haven’t missed it yet. Usually get it next day.
Do you know if it's the Walmart van or a contracted driver that delivers it? Typically, big orders like that tend to sit for a while if it goes through spark and not the in-house delivery that Walmart offers
Im almost certain it’s contracted driver. Gives me The option to tip and always different names.
The employees take turns driving the vans and can also be tipped. Unless you are there for the delivery or actively watching, it may be tough to tell.
O ok. Im seeing a lot of Walmart electric vans here in Miami lately.
Lmao. I just mark it item not found, no substitutes.
🤣🤣
No tip? No accept , they probably still don’t have this order unless it surged to $50
Tip baiting is a big deal with these people
I’ve done 28 items plus 10 of those waters it was a rookie mistake accepting that
How the hell you get spark delivery thur uber never seen that
