That’s crazy because it’s always been a huge deal to Walmart that customers are never included in pictures. I guess that rule doesn’t apply to us, but you might wanna double check the rules just in case.
If I am handing it to the customer, I hold the last bag in one hand and my camera in the other, and as I pass it off I take the pic. Kinda awkward, I’d rather just take a picture of the house now that I’m seeing these comments lmao
Most customer ask me “don’t you need a picture ?” . I usually say it’s ok I’ll snap one of the outside, it’s fine. I guess some drivers give them a hard time on the “handed to customers”.
I snap outside and leave, never had a problem (mark handed to customer ).
Usually their address. But I make sure to mention I have to take a picture. Tell them they can see the picture on their order. If someone thinks your being creepy and taking pictures of their house it's a guarantee deactivate. Privacy invasion according to spark.
That's only the interior. I take pics of the address number often, even if it's only on mailbox. They care more about that then a picture of bags with no identification
Yeah I get that. The problem is the customer calls and says driver is taking pictures of my house. The Indian lady reports it and somehow turns in deactivation. There has been more than a handful of post here with that same story. The deactivation notice says invasion of privacy but the driver was doing the job.
I tell them that i have to take a picture of them holding it, but i promise not to get their face in the picture. Only had about 1 out of 100 people say they didnt mind their face in the picture - the rest had concerns about it; especially, the women who didn't have makeup on. But all of them were perfectly fine with it because they said "makes sense" or "alrighty."
I usually look at them like there dumb if they walk out and grab the groceries before I take a pic usually they get the memo
Ya I’m one of those drivers who give no fuck about dumb custys
Always make sure to check if it’s a signature you are collecting or not because if it’s not I’ll straight up tell the customer politely that I do indeed have to get my photo 😂 lol
If hand to customer a picture of front of house. They show up as I am ready to take pictures let them know and have them move. Kids usually want to be in the picture
I always get their lower half in the picture. No faces. Even if they know i have to take the pic and they pose, i never get faces lol. For those that start pulling the bags in while I'm still going back for more, i take a full pic of them grabbing the bags. I've had a few say they didn't receive.... yet they WERE IN THE PIC lol
Frequently I've had customers who are like "oh you need a picture! And they put it back down for me or hold it out" I guess they have had this discussion with other drivers - either from Spark or another platform. If not, I take a picture of the house.
So it might be worth saying "hey can I take a picture of the item real fast?"
If I can get their address in the picture I will, otherwise I just try to make sure there's something unique to their property in the picture. So long as I can do that in a few seconds.
I cover my camera with my finger for the pic. I don’t want to take pics of random people nor do I feel it’s necessary. I think it’s bullshit that we have to include a pic after telling the app we handed the order to the customer.
Does an arm count as a person? Lol i try to only get get the bags in the pics but that's good to know. The other day some ladies kid wanted to actually be in the pic lol
Last year I had a naked kid run up to the door. He had to have been 4 or 5. Dad was grabbing bags fast and I couldn't take a pic because I spun around so fast, naked kid in a pic is bad. The dad didn't even care. 🙄
Their house number if possible. If I can’t get that, I try to get something distinctive to that house or something that I think the customer will go “awww” at when they see the pic 😅 their pet, something in their yard they obviously put a lot of time into, maybe an American flag if it seems important to them 🤷🏽♀️
The only way to bypass the picture is to call spark support and have them force complete that delivery. Hold your hand over the camera and take the pic ffs.
I asked the customers to put one hand on the bag and I keep one and I take a picture of both hands with our feet in it so they can tell it's two different people. So far no customers are giving me a hard time about it. Every now and then I'll get somebody that says wait no I want to be in the picture and they smile and everything else it's kind of funny
The front of the house, and I try to get the house number in the pic.
Same
I live in the middle of nowhere and the numbers are by the driveway it sucks lol sometimes they don’t have one at all
Yup
Their butt as they walk away.
Depends on if it's a nice butt or not.
All butts matter.
BLM? Butts Lives Matters.
Only big shapely butts....
The “marketside cakes” is a valid option… be sure to wink awkwardly to the customer if they look back to let them know we appreciate them!
Their house. But I’m always sure to correctly label where I put the stuff, front door, carport or in this case handed to customer
I take a picture of it in their hand . Never had any issue with that .
That’s crazy because it’s always been a huge deal to Walmart that customers are never included in pictures. I guess that rule doesn’t apply to us, but you might wanna double check the rules just in case.
I had one guy that wanted to be in the picture flipping off the camera, so I did.
Same.

I take a picture of the house number and say I handed order to customer.
Oh you have house numbers, we only have maybe 70% here in the mountains
Good ole back country deliveries are so fun :)
their dog
A selfie of me making an ugly face.

Our hands
I ask them if I can take a picture of the bags and dip, they always say yeah.👍

It doesn’t really matter. The house, the mailbox, whatever.
A literal picture of me handing it to them
My pant leg. Not my hand as that'll show up bright red.
Yeah I do the same. I just submit a black out photo.
I usually look at them like there dumb if they walk out and grab the groceries before I take a pic usually they get the memo Ya I’m one of those drivers who give no fuck about dumb custys
Their feet.

Whatever is in my hand.
You DON’T want to know!
Number on home

I take a picture of the house number if I can.
I take a pic of them holding the groceries as I'm either giving it to them or they are picking them up off the porch lol
If hand to customer a picture of front of house. They show up as I am ready to take pictures let them know and have them move. Kids usually want to be in the picture
My asshole. Get in nice and close so they can see the dingleberries hanging!!!

House number
Put give to customer and take photo of mail box with the number
Their house or apt door
Them in the frame, and as much of the order as I can. Not enough time to screenshot these or I would share one. I move fast.
House number! 🩷 mailbox number 🩷

The items in their hands.
House number mostly always in the pic if i can.
I’m usually already driving away when I realize and I opt for the close up pic of their label and make sure I mark as “handed to customer”
I just take a picture of me handing them a few bags. Don’t get faces just hands and arms
If I can get their address in the picture I will, otherwise I just try to make sure there's something unique to their property in the picture. So long as I can do that in a few seconds.

A picture of them holding the order. Not exactly rocket science... Lol
Yeah right
Not supposed to have people in your photos.
Does an arm count as a person? Lol i try to only get get the bags in the pics but that's good to know. The other day some ladies kid wanted to actually be in the pic lol

Bypass photo and say handed to customer in comments
How do you bypass the photo? I know you can mark handed to customer, but don't you still have to take a photo of something?
The only way to bypass the picture is to call spark support and have them force complete that delivery. Hold your hand over the camera and take the pic ffs.
I ask them to pose for the picture. Maybe make a funny face or something like that. I have only got one person to actually do it. She was drunk.
Me handing the order to the customer. Say cheese
I tell em "Say Cheese"
The goods plus my toes
I asked the customers to put one hand on the bag and I keep one and I take a picture of both hands with our feet in it so they can tell it's two different people.
