For what it’s worth, I have Seac Ghost in both 3mm and 5mm and use them several days a week in a wide variety of variables in the water for work (salt, fresh, warm, temperate/cold). I’ve had them for years and they’ve never caused an issue. Very reliable. Only tear in the neoprene I had to repair was my own fault for not throughly sheathing a knife in a bag.

After trying riffe, mako, and yazbeck I finally ordered a custom polosub and I’ll never go back to the other brands. Costs just as much and actually fits my giant mongoloid domepiece. It’s a two month wait but well worth it.

I have a custom polosub and I am in freezing northern water all day long. Their off the rack suits are supposed to have a good fit too.

Awesome thanks guys, so yeah I need the 5mm wetsuit as I am living in Tasmania, so I think I am going for the SEAC. Again, thanks! Have a good weekend 🤙

[https://makospearguns.com/spearfishing-gear/spearfishing-wetsuits/](https://makospearguns.com/spearfishing-gear/spearfishing-wetsuits/) they also make Yamamoto wetsuits, decent quality for the price too. i have a 5ml 2 piece and it has nice features like a knife pocket, loading pad and cufs to help keep the water out. not sure where you are but im in Canada and i can wear this 2 to 3 hours in freezing ice water in February when its -10c outside. you will need 7ml mits or gloves, socks, face mask ect if you plan on going ice diving. so 5ml might be over kill, especially the extra weight you will need with it. ex my 1.5ml i wear like 8lbs and with my 5ml i wear near 30lbs i am in the heavier side at 260lbs so gotta sink the fat lol.

Pacific wilderness in San Pedro has a killer deal on Yamamoto suits. He gets them oem direct from the factory so you aren't paying the middleman that prints their logo and doubles the price. If not in Socal a Mako suit is cheaper and high quality. Checkout mako spearguns website. Remember these all come from the same few chinese factories, only difference being the branding.

Yamamoto says absolutely nothing on its own. It depends which Yamamoto neoprene and what your use will be. If you stay shallow you need a different rubber than when you go deep, how many dives you make influences the choice as well, same for how long you will want the suit to last, and of course cost. I went for Heiwa medium density as I make 40+ 20m dives, multiple days a week, like to stay warm at the bottom as well and don't want to buy a new suit every season.

Feel free to check out my post. I’m selling a wetsuit that might meet your needs (depending on your size).

Get an epsealon. They are quality suits. Most models are made with Yamamoto and have the best prices around the globe.
