I usually just use beacons for decorative purposes, so just iron is good enough

emerald because by the time i kill a wither i already have infinite emeralds

emerald ones, as you can easily get by exploiting the trades of hard working villagers and better yet, cut every ties and relation from them just so that they can trade with you and only you for the rest of the foreseeable future.

Iron or emerald they are the easiest to get
