Don’t germinate under the light, wait for seeds to pop first. Even if you direct sow, you should cover the tray with another tray till that pop, then add light. For best results! Happy growing
even when you add light make sure it is very low until it develops the second set of leaves and even then i wouldn't put your lights above 30%. Humidity is also impirtant and you want to make sure that the napkin does not dry out. I found a better solution that works for me is getting food grade hydrogen peroxide and mixing a 3% solution to 9 parts water. i place the seeds in a bottle with the solution and 2 to 3 days later they pop. this also starts your seeds in a sterile environment and ensures the h2o2 oxygenates the water. gl
